Black Cat thought about Boom Boom's idea for several minutes before he answered her. Her plan was sound, but unfeasable to him. After all, if they followed through it, they would be abandoning two innocent to the hands of a mad-man. "I thought everything was already set. Why did you want to talk privately?"

He shook his head for a moment.

"True, things are set as far as my partners understand. However, I need to make a few changes, which they don't need to know about."

"We're still coming after the artifact, but I'll need you do do some other stuff. I think my client will want to know the artifact actually works as it's supposed to, so I'll test it, discreetly. Hide the bottle in the park and bring the scrolls instead. Secure the artifact in a lockbox and put it in a wooden crate. Do you have any drones or aircraft at the dig site?"

"A few drones for observation work and one long range drone for supply runs. Why?"

"Then Drake here can pilot the long range drone for us. Load the artifact onto the drone and Drake can pilot it to where it needs to go."

"If you think that's what needs to be done. I'll get the drone prepped to leave tonight. Anything else?"

He hmmed for a moment before shaking his head.

"Not that I can think of. If anything goes wrong or you need to contact me, just signal me like you did. We'll see you at the park."

"I just figured you could hide the drone somewhere near the safe house for now. I'll need to have the artifact in my possesion when I turn it over. The less I have it, the better. Try not to lose it, please."

Black Cat nodded as he lifted the cover from the box. Inside the box were several rolled scrolls tied with leather. The sargent reached in and pulled a few out, examining them. Satisfied, he put the scrolls back into the box. He gestured for a moment towards the vase that Chen was holding.

"It was just some water I brought from him. I figured he would be a little thristy from the walk."
