Sometimes, seemingly out of nowhere, someone walks into your life. A new soul, or an old one....gone but not forgotten. If we're open to it....sometimes magic happens. Being open hearted, not living in the past, not resentful and afraid is all it takes to recognize it. Heh, a little luck doesn't hurt either.

What I didn't learn from you, my daughter teaches me. Of course not the same, but still.....unconditional love. She is wise beyond her years. It's like we're equals in so many ways. I know it makes you smile to have filled that hole in my life.

...and I have to agree....EVERYONE needs to know unconditional love at some point in thier lives. I've had it, and I've given it...and it's truly amazing what one learns of themselves in that particular situation. I never knew I could give that much of myself...didn't know I had THAT much to give! Too bad it was one sided. But like a wiseman told me once..."Lesson learned!"

I did...and looked for her. But you were right....she did seek me out. For that, I can't thank the One enough. It fills me with more satisfaction, completeness again than I can say.

We all carry "battle" scars in one way, shape or form that prevent us from trusting, loving and giving like we were meant to, at some time of our lives.
Well maybe Ozzie and Harriet didn't.

All of us as well have played games at one time or another. White lies, just deleting details, thinking it's for the others good....being confused. Not talking blatent using....but a lie is a lie is a lie. Someone's going to get hurt. It's going to come back and bite ya in the ass.

I know. Done it. Lost soooo much from being stupid. No more.......

It all hit home being re-united with my daughter. 20 years gone.....cripes, I missed walking her down the aisle to be married. My baby. Because I let a lie grow on a lie and didn't put priorities first. Let two women's spite and jealousy drive a wedge between my kids and I.

Karma is a stone, unforgiving bitch. Thankfully even a slow learner like me can get it. The sky is bright now. In a lot of ways.

How two people who have only known each other in posting here in this forum for the last couple years casually, could hook up like we did? Yeah we cared and watched what went on with each others lives. Trusted in the honesty of what we saw. But WOW......

Waiting....made it right. A chance to think of what we'd seen, talked about and didn't do in respect for each other. Something akin to our age....our time of romance.

Happening in such a short time.....I'm sure there's others shaking their heads.
Another fling for 69. Heh....could it be, as comfortable as we are at this point?
NO. It's real. Will it endure? That's for us to decide. Nobody here can do that but us Darlin'. Nobody has control of our destiny but us.

People can say all they want and think what they like....but I know in my heart that it just feels "right". I feel like I was given something special, a chance to smile again, to be happy again...to live again. After a couple of years of posting back and fourth, watching eachothers lives but the timing was never right....till now.....and your right.....it ain't looking to bad so far.....
