A Simple Question

Your compatriot has already admitted that being elected to the Senate is an accomplishment in and of itself. I would argue it's even more so for Mrs. Clinton given the political baggage she already carried around with her and the extreme animosity shown toward her by the "right".

The fact that YOU don't think that it's an accomplishment is irrelevant. In fact, it's BECAUSE of the attitudes displayed toward her that it IS an accomplishment. even with the "right" gunning for her at every turn she still was elected to the Senate. TWICE.

I'm aware that it annoys you and yours to no end, and it gives me great pleasure even though I have never been a supporter of Mrs. Clinton myself.

So what you and you ilk are saying is that her only real political accomplishment is being elected when running (unappeased in her party) in a democratic state where she was a resident for all of a few months. Thank you for illustrating the importance of O'Reilly's question. I can't wait to see her answer the question for herself on the big stage when asked.

Hilarious: When Hillary is asked to name one accomplishment as Secretary of State…

When Hillary is asked to name one accomplishment as Secretary of State…

Hillary Clinton faced a friendly audience and a sympathetic interviewer, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, at the “Women of the World Summit” Thursday night in New York City. But Friedman, asking a friendly question, revealed how hard it will be for Hillary Clinton to go before the American people as a presidential candidate, especially in any debates.

The Independent Journal-Review caught the moment, and offered a transcript and video (below) of the key moments:

The question:

“When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of? And what do you feel was unfinished, and maybe have another crack at one day?”

After a slight pause, quiet laughter could be heard from the friendly crowd, revealing an awareness of how difficult and impressive answer would be. This is not exactly a Tea Party crowd, either.

Her rambling response included this footwork:

”Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton.”

“Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished…”

“We had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we had two wars. We had continuing threats from all kinds of corners around the world that we had to deal with. So it was a perilous time frankly.”

“We were going to stimulate, and grow, and get back to positive growth and work with our friends and partners.”

“I’m very proud of the stabilization and the really solid leadership that the administration provided that I think now, leads us to be able to deal with problems like Ukraine.”

“Then of course, a lot of particulars, but I am finishing my book so you’ll be able to read all about it.”

“Buy my book” will not be a very impressive answer in a presidential debate.

Hardly the only, you asked for "a factual accomplishment". I gave you one.

Unappeased?

When the AState Dept was asked that

a FEW DAYS later they said

SHE SET UO A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT FOR STATE:cool:

Personally, I think that it's hilarious that the "right" is shitting themselves silly just at the thought that she may run for President.

I would too if my only announced candidate was Ted "I signed up for Obamacare but want to repeal every word of it" Cruz.

Oh, look. http://www.biography.com/people/hillary-clinton-9251306

Wow, she has had quite a life.

She was Class President of Wellesley College in her senior year.

She was on the faculty of a law school, just like President Obama.

As a young mother, she chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, and served on the boards of the Arkansas Children's Hospital, Legal Services and the Children's Defense Fund, all before Chelsea had turned 13.

She was the first woman Senator from New York, the first First Lady to win election to such an office, and to top that off, she won re-election six years later.

Holy hell, is Bill O'Reilly a total dunce?

UD said getting elected was an accomplishment?????

They have nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Fucking hilarious.

Pay attention moron.

Boxlicker said that being elected to the Senate was an accomplishment, only not for her, because.. reasons.

LOL... good answer and typical. Would you like to try another accomplishment seeing as you insist tat is truly one?

Yes that should have been unopposed... caught by spell check again. The fact that you felt the need to point that out when you know what was meant is typical deflection when you have nothing of substance to say.

I was giving you an out. Pity you didn't take it.

Look at the post above yours.
There's quite a list of accomplishments for you to dismiss.

I think the question was what she accomplished in her elected and or appointed career.

Hillary is a back bencher compared to Cruz. How many Supreme Court Justices did she clerk for? How many times has she argued legal cases for a state before the Supreme Court? Cruz has argued more cases before the court than any practicing attorney in the state of Texas or the Conress. Cruz's qualifications for office are vast and deep:

That's an impressive resume, if he were being considered for a DoJ position or an judges chair. Good luck getting him through the primaries.

The topic at hand, however, is the accomplishments of Hillary Clinton, which were linked in Phrodeau's post. Do you have anything to add or just more deflection?

Crus signed up

because the LAW says a CONGRESS PERSON who gets his own insurance MUST SIGN UP

he follows the law, unlike CUNT CLINTON

She did make more money then Cruz in the futures market. UD didn't mention that as an accomplishment.

How does trial law translate to vast and deep executive experience? I'll have to assume you'd be happy to vote for Alan Dershowitz as well?
