A Song for Everything

No, she's talking about my song. I feel like it fits both ways as being caught up in something you know you shouldn't be knowing it will end, but you're enjoying it too much knowing it's going to hurt when it's over. It's an impending heartbreak causing heartache.

HIM's music was based on the dichotomy of the tragedy of romance.
Good, I haven't gone totally bonkers. 😂

Yes, that's what I was wondering about when you two talked about posting first. Thanks for the clarification. I was confused. 😆

Rancid is an East Bay band, right? Around these parts GGF is Golden Gate Fields, a horse track.
That's exactly where this song is about. I was wondering if you'd catch that.

"This is not Churchill Downs, this is not Hollywood Park!/When The field's wide open, I'll choose the horse that's got the biggest heart"

They reference a lot of places around The Bay. The album "Let The Dominoes Fall" has a track called "East Bay Nights" that sounds familiar to anyone that's spent time in Oakland.

GGF is at the foot of Gilman St. Maybe a mile from the punk club called 924 Gilman, Green Day place. But you already knew that. 😀
