A Song for Everything

It wasn't the age restriction. This is Lit. after all. It was the suicide and self harm content I wasn't in the mood for is all.
I watched it because I had heard of Jeremy but never listened to it. I'm not a PJ fan either, not that I dislike them but I don't like them either. They just "are" in my music universe.

The video was good as a PJ neophyte because it had lyric subtitles and the images were good. Yes it was disturbing. But I then read the background, found out that it was based on a true story, a teen named Jeremy who shot himself in school. He had been bullied, he was troubled. A tragedy all around. I'm glad I watched it and read about it, and thanks to @ZfrkS62 for posting it.

Cool song. Why have I never heard it before?
It hit the top 40 in the really early 70s. I remember hearing it on AM radio as a kid. And I just heard it a couple of weeks ago on the "American Top 40 replay," which I listen to to catch songs like that which I have forgotten. (Also to remind me that pop music in the 70s and 80s had a lot of stinkers as well. Nostalgia ears, heh.)

Goodnight

I've posted my memory packed "Goodnight Irene" before so I went with something 8've never heard before. This is my first, and possibly my last, Jonas Brothers song.

Goodbye

I'm not aPJ fan by any means either. Coming of age in the 90s in the Seattle area, I couldn't get away from them. Personally I think they're a bit overrated. They're singles are akin to the trailers of action movies that essentially show the whole movie in 30 seconds.
