The chorus... "Move, hot-rod, move man..."Hot rod
This is the song I've used for years and years to loosen up my fingers when I pick up my guitar.Hot rod Lincoln
"That sounds suspiciously like rock and/or roll."This is the song I've used for years and years to loosen up my fingers when I pick up my guitar.
It got me some dirty looks when I was doing that in a church... and other people started singing it. I guess there were some sinners there.![]()
Okay... we got this...Road
My church band could play that with nary an arched eyebrow. We play strictly secular music. “ Imagine there’s no heaven, no religion too.” Yep, on a Sunday worship service in a Presbyterian church. This is the song I've used for years and years to loosen up my fingers when I pick up my guitar.

I was only there for a few months... I remembered why I had bailed on organized region completely. But, it's still a funny memory. My church band could play that with nary an arched eyebrow. This is as close as it gets. More of a geographical match than about a festival.
It’s a fantastic song for a warmup. I need to learn it.I was only there for a few months... I remembered why I had bailed on organized region completely. But, it's still a funny memory.![]()
Not gonna deny, I normally will never, ever list a song when someone leaves a clue which clearly only has 1 song that works. But... I love this song, so I will answer - because I always listen to the songs I post.Burning bridges
Great song from a great movie! I grew up watching all the WWII movies late at night with my dad, a WWII and Korean War vet. Kelly's Heroes was one of the best because of the phenomenal all-star cast. Thanks for posting it!The Mike Curb Congregation - Burning Bridges
Well, I was going more for the concept than the actual title, and I had nothing in mind. I thought the idea was something that is tangential, or just reminds you of the prompt, was fine. Which has been how I am playing it.Not gonna deny, I normally will never, ever list a song when someone leaves a clue which clearly only has 1 song that works. But... Hero(s)
Have you ever considered Donald Sutherland’s character in The Dirty Dozen, vs his character in Kelly’s Hero's vs his character in MASH… of course there are tons more - but those are just in a 4 year span, and all are war movies and all brilliant performances of drastically different characters. The man is crazy good!Great song from a great movie! I grew up watching all the WWII movies late at night with my dad, a WWII and Korean War vet. Sorry - to me, it was just one. I realized after I posted it there might be others I just don’t know. I didn’t mean to offend you, sorry about that. There have been several postings here with horrible “clues” which is why I left for a while - my bad… sorry about that.Well, I was going more for the concept than the actual title, and I had nothing in mind. And I can name at least a half dozen songs with the same title, so...no, there was way more than one answer.
The Dirty Dozen was another great movie! Those two are probably my favorites due the the cast and great acting. I've always appreciated Donald Sutherland, but no, never thought of how different each of his roles were.Have you ever considered Donald Sutherland’s character in The Dirty Dozen, vs his character in Kelly’s Hero's vs his character in MASH… of course there are tons more - but those are just in a 4 year span, and all are war movies and all brilliant performances of drastically different characters. No, it's fine, honestly. I try to play in the manner I came into this, with more concepts than exact words and the like. I avoid the "it must have ____in the title" and similar clues myself.Sorry - to me, it was just one. I realized after I posted it there might be others I just don’t know. Kelly’s Heroes was one of my mom’s favorite movies. She watched every year on Memorial Day. Sometimes more often.Great song from a great movie! I agree completely… I never actually considered it should be in the title, I always think lyrics only. And I totally agree “burning bridges” as a concept is huge. Most of the songs on one of my favorite albums of all time, is practically all about burning bridges (Paul McCartney’s Ram)… happily I didn’t get any of that as a kid when it came out.No, it's fine, honestly.
