Well, for years I absolutely LOATHED Steely Dan because of their horrible mispronunciation of "Oregon" in this song. It wasn't until I saw a friend of mine sitting in with a killer band on guitar, and they performed "My Old School" and my friend totally nailed Skunk Baxter's guitar solo. So cool!!! I decided I'd give Steely Dan a second chance after that.

However, I was hoping someone would know a song other than this one with Oregon in it.

I still cringe when I hear this song, so I usually avoid it. I did listen to it now thought... it's been years since I have.
