A Walk into Soho

You are trying, and succeeding in making me homesick. When next back, I'll get off the train at W. Hampstead, and see if I spot you. ;)

*sigh*

Now I want to go back to England..... I think i was running way to fast the first time through..... Youth is so wasted on the young......

One day I will visit.

What a lovely surprise - to take an journey to a dream place of mine.

There are jewels here.

I could stare for hours at that fountain.

thank you again

I hope you do visit.

Maybe I should post some nightlife shots too. That's a whole other side to the place.

Dr.: This thread's a real treat. I'd buy a guidebook to London from you anyday. I'm bookmarking this thread for future necessary daydreams until I realize my great desire of seeing your city in person.

I enjoyed all the photos, but I think most especially "The Fountain of Nothing".

Thank you very much,

Grushenka

I would enjoy that immensely.
You're a very talented phgotographer.

Good pics, Joe.

Thanks for sharing.

I should take some of the walk into Edinburgh. It's about the same distance.

Next week, I have some time off.

He's a monkey faced pansey?

It is a good thread.
I'm walking into Edinburgh today. Good weather, blue sky, 9C.

Fabulous pics, now I feel homesick. Strangely enough I was just raving about the place in an email a couple of minutes ago. Thanks for sharing. And keep 'em coming mate.

Since we're sharing pictures that are or are not of Venice, here's one I took in my garden. The plant is a vase-shaped anthurium over six feet tall. Each fleshy protuberance is about nine inches long.

This disturbing incident took place on my deck. Another member of the anthurium family, this one wandered into my yard when I left the gate open.

Here, I've just finished dusting the garden and am about to go in and count the silverware:
