A woman on top: A Writerly Thread

Well, I have a story underway. It's a fantasy, but as realistic a fantasy as I can make it, about how I would seduce a strong man.

The male lead, Antonio, is five years older than me. He's an Italian-American, married, former Marine who is the project manager at one of my out-of-town clients. The man, the client, etc. are all fictional.

I think the wife is going to be eight months pregnant and visiting her family with the kids. That leaves Antonio alone at home for a week, with me alone in my hotel room.

There are a lot of ways in which this guy is going to be strong and a couple of ways to make him seducible.

My strength comes from my "at work" persona (High-Powered Consultant Woman), my higher status (the CEO assigned him to work with me), my irresistible good looks and general overall sexiness (I told you this was a fantasy).

Now, the trick is, creating a seduction that puts me in the lead without compromising his Italian-Stallion, Married, Marine, Manager, Macho thing.

(Boy that was a long way to go for assonance and consonance, wasn't it?)

But... he hasn't had any in a while, and he ain't gettin’ none from the wife for a couple more months. So, maybe we can work something out.

Ya think?

I'm getting horny just thinking about it. Time to go spread... uh, I mean stretch... my legs.

Anybody else working on anything? :rose:

PS - Nothing like good food and wine to lower inhibitions.
Yes, already working on it. There are a lot of sensual things you can do with carrot sticks, some of them even in public.

I've never had any problems with a woman being on top, in either stories or real life.

It leaves my hands free to do what my imagination come up with, and I can imagine a lot.

One, thing to consider: A guy with an eight month pregnant wife who sleeps with another woman is not what I'd call a "strong" man -- in fact I'd call him a bit of a weak, selfish asshole.

Hey there Angela146, interesting thread. I've kind of struggled with the strong woman issue (if it is an issue) in a story I've just completed, yet to post. The female character in my story is an artist who seduces her male model. It's a straight out seduction scene in which he fully and willingly participates. She acts on her strong desire for him. I did give the male character the opportunity to signal (with a kiss) that he did indeed wish to proceed with the seduction. There is no abuse of power or BDSM, she just takes the lead and she is literally on top.

The challenge for me came in the balance of perspective and who led the action at any time. Because it's written from her perspective she seems to lead the action alot, I was conscious of that. Interestingly the person for whom the piece was written had absolutely no issue with the woman taking "control" of the situation.

I guess in the end I based the interaction on my own experiences of how sex works in real life for me. Someone might take the lead but in the end we are equal partners enjoying ourselves. Sex is a beautifully complicated dance.

Writing the piece certainly did get me thinking about a lot of the issues and ideas raised by this thread.

Sorry Angela146, I've got to agree with Sub Joe, "Antonio" is going to be hard to care about as a character if he's cheating on his pregnant wife. Pregnant women are also often very horny. Just my two cents. :)

I think HCTR and SJ both have a good point.

I kind of want the guy to be married so that it doesn't create other imballances.

So, he would have to be in an open marriage or cheating. If he's cheating, you're right he's not as strong as I need. If he's in an open marriage, it becomes too easy. I loose the guy's internal conflict.

Maybe if they had an open marriage but he hadn't actually ventured out before. That would create a tension of sorts. In other words, it moves from the theoretical to the real, which can be a difficult thing.
