A Woman's Rights to Her Own Body

Texas would rather see women die in pain, and in fear.

The falsehood that tax money goes to abortion practitioners is still repeated.it is written into law that no tax payer money can go to abortionist.

No health care for women, if they will not support the new Texas Theocracy.

They will pay for a man to keep his penis functioning.
Health care for a penis is important.

One woman is in the hospital with an extensive uterus infection.
She did not get medical care for her miscarriage.
She could not afford the new fee, for her miscarried fetus.

One woman is facing financial disaster.
No fetal tissue could be found, after her abortion.
The pregnancy was caught early.
But, money must be paid, as if she had delivered a fully formed fetus.

There is nothing to bury or cremate.
What is the purpose of these orders ?

To give "fetal personhood" a foot in the door.

To burden the independent women's health care system with un necessary costs.

Medical waste disposal was affordable.
Now, there are many people holding their hands out to get paid.
Adding as much as $2,000.00 to the bill.

State Health Department Makes Fetal Tissue Rule Final
Anti-choice rule takes effect Dec. 19

Despite emotional public hearings, roughly 35,000 comments, and major pushback from pro-choice advocates, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission finalized a new rule on Monday that would require women to bury or cremate fetal tissue after their abortion or miscarriage, rather than deposit them in sanitary sewers and medical-waste landfills.

The rule, initially drafted under the radar in July, is set to take effect on Dec. 19, 2016

Texas Publishes State-Mandated Anti-Choice "Propaganda" Booklet
Updated pamphlet still rife with medical errors, health advocates say

More than 35% of the information in the state-mandated booklet is made up of medical inaccuracies, a panel of experts at Rutgers University found earlier this year.

http://www.austinchronicle.com/dail...tate-mandated-anti-choice-propaganda-booklet/

On behalf of the state, I’m sorry. I’m sorry to Texas women for being forced to get information that’s inaccurate and certainly sorry for our physicians and health care providers for being put in the position of ignoring their medical training and medical knowledge to provide information that is misleading at best and false, as well.”

What if Texas published a pamphlet that lied about men's reproductive health ?

Lawsuit Challenges Fetal Burial Rule In Texas

Abortion rights groups filed suit Monday to stop the state of Texas from enacting a rule on Dec. 19 that requires fetal remains to be buried or cremated after miscarriages or abortions.

The lawsuit calls the rule "politically motivated" and says it aims to shame women.

The Texas Department of Health went ahead with the measure despite objections from medical groups.

Lawsuit Challenges Fetal Burial Rule In Texas

Texas to enact law requiring autopsies on all miscarriages. Manslaughter charges to follow.

In their 19-page legal filing, providers claim the fetal burial regulation is in violation of privacy, equal protection, due process, and interstate commerce.

The rule – quietly slipped into the Texas Register just days after SCOTUS slammed down HB 2 – amounts to a “replacement” for HB 2 and is a direct response to the Supreme Court victory (and the state's loss), CRR writes.

CRR drew parallels between the new regulation and HB 2, writing that it “employs precisely the same tactics” as the now struck part of the law that forced physicians to secure admitting-privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of where the abortion is performed. Both rules compel providers to “maintain a fragile, medically unnecessary third-party relationship,” without which could lead them to closure. Providers say they’re only aware of one facility in the entire state willing and able to provide cremation services at a price that is comparable to their current special waste disposal costs. Since no other state health department regulation or state law similarly requires healthcare facilities to follow particular methods of human remain disposal, the state is unfairly targeting abortion provider.

Fake videos, fraud, unreasonable demands based on unrealitic views, and now, religious demands overriding public health.

While the health department changed up language as it relates to the issuance of fetal death certificates, CRR notes they would still require a certificate for a fetus that is 350 grams or more or at 20 weeks or higher gestation period, which would result in disclosing personally-identifying details without consent, “an unprecedented invasion of women’s privacy.” Further, say CRR, it could threaten the safety of women who wish to keep their abortion confidential from abusive family members.

The New York-based legal group is asking the court for a temporary injunction to stop the rule from taking effect as scheduled on Monday, Dec. 19.

I think abortions are horrible and not an easy decision to make. That being said I think it is a woman's right to choose. I just don't think I as a taxpayer should have to fund it. Also if it is a woman's right to choose, and she chooses to keep the baby, its her right and responsibility to raise the kid, if the father doesnt want to be a part of it.

They are trying to limit access to birth control, again.

In the last several years, numerous bills have been introduced in Congress to block Title X funds from organizations that also provide abortions, like Planned Parenthood. In 2011, the House voted to defund Title X in its entirety, but the measure didn't pass the Senate. Still, for the last several years Title X funding has decreased, from $317.5 million in 2010 to $286.5 million in 2016. Under a Trump administration and with a Republican Congress, those numbers could shrink even more.

"If we lost Title X funding — oh, gosh, given the history of Title X battles in Congress, I think that's a real question," says Brogan in Maine. "Right now we have over 50 clinics. There's no way we'd be able to maintain that without Title X.

Able to control her own body for two years, with
I.U.D

Under Obama care, contraceptive preventative care is affordable.

Mike Pence agrees with anti contraceptive groups.

1,000.00 cost, right now, for I.U.D

I aggravates me, when men that are trying to limit health choices for women, say that they are are doing it to protect women's health.

Take these men, for example.

State Representative Keven Stratton and state Senator Curt Bramble are hoping to introduce a law that will force doctors to tell women undergoing abortions that the procedure could be reversed.

These men, who admit they are not doctors, are basing a law on one man's work.

Abortion reversal was invented by Dr George Delgado, whose website Abortion Pill Reversal features both success stories and regret stories from women who’ve had abortions.

Delgado carried out a study into the effectiveness of the procedure in 2012 which claimed it worked for two-thirds of women, however the study had just six participants.

American College of Gynecologists (ACOG), however, believes the procedure is very dangerous.

Dr. Cheryl Chastine

"...flooding the body with progesterone can cause an array of side-effects including blood clots, hair loss and nausea."

Uniformed men, are willing to promote a procedure that had woefully inadequate study, and is dangerous to a women's health and life. For purely political reasons.

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/12/trumps-new-hhs-secretary-tried-curb-contraceptive-access

December 8, 2016

Last week, Donald Trump announced that Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), an orthopedic surgeon known for fierce criticism of the Affordable Care Act, is his choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the roughly $80 billion federal agency whose 80,000 employees are tasked with administering numerous programs relating to Americans' health, including the Affordable Care Act's contraceptive mandate—which requires employer-sponsored health insurance to cover birth control without a copay.

Pro-choice advocates are also worried about Price's long history of opposing contraceptive access. As HHS secretary, Price would have the power to roll back the ACA's contraceptive mandate without congressional approval, simply by changing the definition of preventive care to exclude contraception. It's a move that is well within the realm of possibility, given Price's enthusiasm for the repeal of the mandate and his support for a number of other anti-contraception measures. Here's a look at a few of them:

Five frightening possibilities, that would mean disaster for any woman hoping to control her own family planning.

We see firsthand the difficulties that Americans face daily in accessing affordable, quality healthcare," wrote a group of more than 5,000 doctors in an open letter opposing Price's nomination. "Dr. Price's proposed policies threaten to harm our most vulnerable patients."

Why did Jabba the Drumpf's team request information on the Stte Department programs that support gender equality ?

"The State Department’s gender equality programs are not just politically correct fluff — they deal with matters of life and death, like rape during war, genital cutting, forced marriage and access to education. The State Department provides essential funding to combat these problems."

Soon we can completely eliminate access to education.

Trump has collected men that are focused on cutting the budget.
Women, children, and babies are usually the first to suffer from the cuts.

Easy targets. Do not have money to fight back.

Trump team asked State Department for info on women’s issues programs, sparking fears of another witch hunt

December 22, 2016

"...each office should include information on all existing programs and activities that “promote gender equality, such as ending gender-based violence, promoting women’s participation in economic and political spheres, entrepreneurship, etc.”

The U.S. government’s attention to the plight of women and girls abroad continued after Clinton left office. The House voted unanimously to pass the Women, Peace and Security Act just last month, which was meant to make the State Department’s initiative permanent.

In March, Kerry announced a national strategy to promote the protection of adolescent girls around the world from things such as forced marriage, genital cutting, sexual violence and denial of access to education.

The one-page memo requested information on the positions that work on these issues and how much money is spent on them. The memo is similar to the one sent to the Department of Energy recently requesting the names of people who have worked or attended conferences on climate change issues.

The women’s equality programs at the State Department have reached millions of women and girls, helping to elevate their status in many developing countries worldwide,” said Eleanor Smeal, president of the Feminist Majority Foundation. “Women’s equality programs at the State Department help to create stability in nations and release the potential of half the population, which leads to the economic growth and well-being of everyone.

“For example, in Afghanistan the USAID PROMOTE programs have reduced maternal and infant mortality, allowed girls the opportunity to go to school, and helped train women for entrepreneurial, civic and public service leadership. Today in Afghanistan millions of girls are going to school, some 20 percent of the college students are women, there are over 200 female judges, and there are now women’s civic programs in all 34 provinces.”

Well then, it's lucky for you that your tax dollars, nor anyone else's, pays for abortions.
