In the UK the legal age to have sex / get married is 16. I assume in the US the legal age for sex is actually 18?

I do remember reading somewhere that in some US states it is possible to marry at 14. Is that not the case and if it is how do you square the circle?

They are not U.S. citizens.
In the U.S. it is legal for a 16 year old to have intercourse (look it up) provided certain specifications are followed such as an age gap of X amount of years, etc., otherwise the Federal law is 18+ with consent.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse for sex with a minor, even if the partner's age was falsified or misrepresented as 18+.

It was my understanding a minor who looks upon nudity, gets aroused by clothed and bare genitalia, or touches anything in a sexual manner, is not allowed on this site.

I was informed (by Laurel) this is not the case, and it's just personal preference, however what specifically can't be done (besides actual sex) is not known at this time since I've seen these rules elsewhere on this site.

I'll keep you up to date when I know something.

Actually it's pretty much what I thought.
Literotica goes by it's own rules on this which just happens to be the same or similar rules as the government (see the Protect Act of 2003).

What I don't understand is why the Protect Act (amended with stricter rules) includes masturbation as sex since no other partner is involved.
