Acrolaw... open...

Hearing Myst's request in her head Tasha made sure that a bed was ready for starblade as well, and anything else Myst may need to tend his wounds. When you arrive i will help you with the child, and its guardian. So that you are not streatched between the two, you need only tell me what is needed and it will be done.

Myst

After tending to Starblade, the stranger and the babe. Myst could feel the strain on her mind and body, but there was still the matter of the council meeting to deal with. But knowing Tasha had called it Myst was determined to be there if anything to listen to what was happening.

Turning to take a last look at Starblade opening mind speak to him, "I will return shortly I am going to the council meeting, please stay and rest I will tell you what is said when I return. Can I bring you something to eat when I return?" Standing in the door way waiting for his reply Myst realizes that she needn't have. He could speak to her just as easily with the mindspeak as she him.

"Watch him Carinea, don't let him stress himself or out of your sight." Speaking loudly to the bird as if she could understand Myst's words. Smiling before stepping out the door closing it firmly behind her Myst heads for the council meeting room. Hoping that nothing else happened for a few days, they all needed rest.

Tasha sat in the council room waiting for everyone that was able to arrive so that they could discuss what was best to be done about the tracks in the woods and their connection..... Who would have the power to do all of this, and why??

They would need to train any of the village men and any women who wished. So that they could help defend the village. Manny of them had started training immediately after the village had been repaired.

Tasha stood, and paced back and forth in the council chamber her thoughts in many different directions. Worried for the village, against this new threat, as well as worry for Starblade, this new stranger, and the baby... Though a wet nurse was provided and the child feed what of its guardian.... Tasha new Myst would care for them but would ware herself down in the process...

Stablade was growing more and more distant... speaking only to Myst, and only then in Mind speak... Justin, and the others were also distant... did they wish to leave??? Tasha didn’t know but she would not stop them if they chose to do so. Things would become more difficult but some how they would manage.

Tasha stopped pacing feeling that someone was watching her. Looking around she didn’t see anyone. It was almost as if... No that couldn’t be... turning she as she heard someone enter she smiled seeing Myst in the doorway. Greetings Myst how fair' your patient's

Myst

Stepping into the building where the meeting is to take place, Myst quickly looks around for Tasha. Smiling as she spots Tasha, noticing that no one else had made their way there yet.

Hearing Tasha asking how Myst fares, Myst replies in return. "Farely well though tired, and I could use a hot meal. But it shall wait until I am able to access the needs of our guest and Starblade. They need my help more then I need anything at this time. How does the rest do? I have not seen Justin nor Grath, or for that matter Grok for that matter. Are they coming tonight for our meeting or have they desided to leave us?"

Finding a seat close to Tasha, Myst relaxes giving a huge sigh of relief. Tis good to relax and just take a moment breathing deeply and trying very hard not to fall asleep. Andre had dissappeared as well which bothered Myst, she hadn't seen him in a few days that she could remember.

Justin

Justin sat just outside of the village, using a uniqe fire spell to mend what was left of his sword, along with some of the cats beast's sharp teeth, to make a new, and hopefully stronger blade. He also attempted to use a part of the spine to make a new bow, but when he finished it, he relised the bow didn't flex enough for it to succesfully shoot an arrow. Justin pulled the blade out of the fire and gave it a long look. This sword was quite different from his others, it was split in the middle to give it a better chance to slice through air and slice his enemys with quick and deadly poreccission. He also made sure that he reinforced the blade so that the split didn't faulter the blade's sturdyness. Insted of reconnecting the sword at the end, he left it split so that it could cause more damnage when stabbing something. What resulted was a a slightly heavier, but a better designed sword.

As the sword cooled, he noticed that the sword had an odd color to it. Most swords were silver, black, or even at times a shade of blue. But this sword had an tint of metallic tan. True, he did use bones of a beast. But his old blade was made out of the bones of a snow dragon, and even then, the magic fire spell used to combine metal and bone made the sword silver. What exatcly was the creature Justin killed? Justin Gave his sword one last look around before puting out the fire, and carefully standing up. He cautiously held his sword and pulled himself into his offensive possition. He swung his sword diagnally down, the swung it straight up. He then released the sword with his left hand, and swung it outward with his right. It was then when he felt an extreamly sharp pain in his side, forcing him to drop to his knees, then to the ground completely, nearly screaming in pain. His breathing quickly became short and painful every time he exhaled. Justin's eyes became very cloudy as his body became resistant to his whims to stand up. But Justin pulled himself together and pulled himself to his feet.

Justin shook his head, trying to shake off the seering pain, and the hazed dizzyness that came along with it. The wolf creature gathered everything up, placed them into a large bag, tied the bag, and and tossed it up into a tree he basicly used as an make-shift home before heading back into the village and torwards the building where some sort of meeting was supposed to take place.

Grath walked into the council chambers and saw both Tasha and Myst seated already. There were a few seats still untaken, so he diceded to sit down. He was feeling in a better mood than he had done in a few days. Most due to the fresh meat he had consumed in the forrest, but his expression, as that of a hyena, as near impossable to read.

"Grath here. Hope meeting prove important to Grath"

Tasha smiled at Myst, and Garth. Seeing Justin slip in behinde them..Yes this meeting in important to everyone if what i fear is true we need to decide what to do about it, but i will wait unitl everyone is presant...As to wether they have decided to leave us.. I do not know.. but if they have i wish them well. She said.

Sitting down with Myst, Garth, and Justin Tasha asked one of the guards to the councel chambers to send for some food, and drink. She had a feeling it was going to be a long evening, both waiting for others to arrive as well as discussing the problem. Myst once this meeting is over i want you to rest.. I will watch over Starblade and the stranger while you sleep. Tasha said looking at Myst she could see how tired she was. If the others do not arrive soon then we will begin the meeting without them.

Myst

"I am fine, once I do sleep it will be with the knowledge that Starblade is well enough that if something does happen he will not relapse." Myst smiles at Tasha before inclining her head towards Justin and Grath. Looking at Grath wearily, wondering what he was thinking.

"Who else are we waiting on Tasha?"

Grok i beleave..and Andre where ever he went...i can fill them in later when we find them.. Tasha said. Justin new most of this from looking at the tracks with her earler, but his opinion was needed in deciding what to do as well.

Tasha begain telling them about the Kolbold tracks...The Demon, and the Catmen. Explaining how, and why she thought they were connected... And not long ago just before Myst arrived it felt as tho someone were watching me from the shadow's yet no one was there...It was almost as if my brother were alive. He used to watch me from the shadows when we trained together, but thats not possable we would have found him by now. She said.

Looking around the room Tasha could tell that they were thinking about what she had said and waited for them to digest the information before asking..Any idea's??

Grath grunted as Tasha finished. "Maybe Tasha haunted. Have spirit of brother tied to Tasha" He snorted at the food arrived, quicky picking up a leg of meat and took a big bite out of it. "Kobolds dumb. hunt in pack. Only shaman and warlord have smarts. They cowards." He took another bite from the meat

"Catmen primal. Mercenary. Have no ties to groups. Do what do to survive." He grunted again. "Not know dee-mon."

Myst

Sitting listening to them feeding the information back to Starblade with mindspeak. Turning to Tasha Myst asks, "could maybe they be directed by one person? A Wizard.. Warlock as some call them... Someone with enough power to control them or for that matter even a demon could do it couldn't they." Already knowing her answer but wanting others to see the possiable danger that Tasha was trying to point out to them.

Indeed a powerful enough Demon could control anything they wished mainly, so could a Wizard. All they would need to have is something that the other groups wanted or possiably needed. Even feared.

Justin leaned back and scratched his head. "It is possible, but really, what Magic user, or demon for that matter, would want to use Slavers? In a sense, Slavers are like the back-water cousins of Worrens and other Catmen. Sure, they'd be easy to control, but... If you have the power to control something, wouldn't you want control something... stronger? I kinda feel there is something more to it..."

Just thought about it for a second. "Could it be possible, that the all that has occured recently is because there is something else running creatures out of their territory?"

Tasha smiled at Garth’s words thinking that it was truly a possibility that she was indeed haunted or may haps just wishful thinking. Listening to Justin and Myst, as well as Garth all of them made good points.

Not necessarily, A wizard or a Warlock may not want anyone to guess what they were up to right away, but yes that is a possibility that I hadn’t thought of, and in ether case we need to find out what is going on. Whether it be something driving them from their territories or a Magic user of some kind. Tasha said looking around the room before continuing.

I think our best course of action for now is to stay as close to the village as possible, until Star blade and the stranger are healed, as well as set up patrols along the village boarder... ECT. Then once they are better we will search out the possible reasons for this mess, by then the villager's should be able to defend against almost anything. What do you all think? She asked waiting on their replies

Myst

Nodding her head in agreement, indeed what Tasha and Justin both said were inspirational. Leaving several more questions waiting to be answered, just at this moment none were to be had.

Myst speaks up so that all could hear her, "I think that is a great idea Tasha, let me know which shift I should take for watch. For now I think I need to check on Starblade and our guest. Please excuse me," turning to go Myst remembers something and turns back to Tasha. "We will need to see about fetching maybe some smaller wild life. It would help us with watching what comes near the village as a early warning system. They tend to get panic'd if something dangerous is near."

Turning back to the door Myst slips out quietly, remembering that she had also brought stores of meat back to the village she makes her way to the smoking hut. Handing off the items to the girls she finds there before making her way to the hut that holds the babe, and stranger. Slipping in seeing them both sleeping comfortably, giving a sigh of relief, again wondering if these two were indeed close to her kinship.

That was a question that could not be answered until the man awoke which might be a while. He looked to be so worn out, how long had he been running for, and just what was it that he had been running from. Giving a small shake of her head Myst steps back outside the hut, nodding to the posted guard outside the door.

Then making her slow way over to the hut she knew Starblade to be in, for some reason she was always drawn back to Starblade. Feeling most comfortable in the strange elf/birds company. Slipping in she sees Coreina perched upon the head board of Starblades bed. Giving a soft chirp to the bird before checking over the bandages upon Starblades wounds. Adjusting the covers over his sleeping form before sitting down in a chair to rest. Slipping off to sleep, quiet and peace such a great thought to have if only for a moment.

Starblade

Hearing the conversation in his head he gets up and tells his chants "aaerdie faenya . . . ona amin i'val rangwe n'tellquessir" and then hobbles over to the council room, looking for Tasha. He noticed Myst had walked in and keeps the covers over her. He slowly hobbles over, as he props himself heavily on a transparent sword. He says to them, in their language "A powerful spellcaster would not waste their time with controlling simple creatures unless if they could control most of the race. If anything is happening, it has something to do with your brother's dissapearance, he may or may not be dead, it's possible that if he is alive, is controlled by magic, or if dead, is still bound by some sort of perversive magic." He sighs and stops for a moment, catching his breath "another possibility is that this is all some sort of experiment, to test a spellcaster's abilities to see what tools he or she might be able to bring against the planet." He looks at them, his large green eyes closing for a moment as he slumps against the wall "It is hard to say, about a defense plan, the easiest thing is to have sensory wards and other simple uses of magic to detect anything heading our way instead of exhausting your people."

That was Starblade blunt and to the point. Tho she had been thinking it she had been avoiding it, putting it up to her immagination, but there it was. Two more possablitiy's to their already long list, and no awncer's.

Looking over at Starblade she wondered if Myst new he was up and about, and new that if she did she would be with him. I thank you Starblade for pointing thos possablitity's out. When you are well.. would you, and Myst see about setting up these wards you were speaking of. I wish to be prepared on all lvl's. For now i beleave we all should get some rest. She said walking with Starblade back twards the house hoping to help him get back inside before Myst reolized he was gone.

In my sleep i could hear voices, Slave language. There was screaming everywhere, the sounds of swords clashing, i could hear a raging fire.

My vision started to come into focus and before me lay a great battle, There were slaves, my people, kobolds, trolls and other creatures i could not recognise, upon the hill i saw the creatures that were after me, A pack of the Strongest Ralakna siting proudly and on their back lay the shaman of my village, on his firehead bore a symbol, pulsating a red light.

I woke suddenly something was wrong i could feel it inside myself, something had changed. Suddenly every inch of my body was in pain it felt as if my bones were extending out of my skin and then it stopped, I looked down and my whole body was larger, my hands were almost three times larger and it was hard to stand. I heard a shrill scream And my body started to shrink...

Turning to look at Sarblade as they both hear a shrill screem comming from Tasha's home.

Running twords her house Tasha tryed to get the wet nurse to open the door. Looking thru the window she could see the woman huddled across the room with the baby in her arms, but no sighn of what had casused her distress.

Stepping back Tasha took a running start and using her sholder hit the door. Two, three, and finally on the fourth attemt the door opend and the woman pointed to the upstairs room saying something about a Giant, and shrinking...

Myst

The scream brought her sitting up to look over at an empty cot. Where had Starblade gone to now? Hearing the scream once again Myst bolds upright and out the door of the hut. Looking about her as her voice starts its beautiful melody, preparing for battle should there be need.

Seeing people running to Tasha's hut Myst makes a mad dash for there, her thoughts on the babe and the man inside. Had he awoken and attacked the woman? Had Tasha been in there when someone the people who had been after the man found them? Fear causing her to run faster, moving and shoving past people as Myst makes it through the door to the small building.

In the corner of the room sits a woman crying and screaming something about a giant, the babe safely within her arms. Cursing silently under her breath and at the same time offering a bit of thankfulness Myst heads up the stairs. Only to be stopped dead in her tracks staring at the sight before her.

Stumbling after Tasha, he walked up to the door, following her and he listened to the lady, shrouded under his green hood, he didn't say anything, but saw Myst push through running upstairs, he hobbled upstairs after her, as fast as he could, hoping not to break open his wounds again, he got to the door and noticed how Myst stopped dead, as if she was held by magic or something. He whispered to out loud "is something wrong?"

I had grown Back to my normal size but my physical form was still changed, there was a mirror and i could see myself, i looked like the gods we worshipped.

i stood on all fours my claws outstretched my jaw had grown outwards, almost like a snout. i had a mane of hair running from the top of my neck stopping just before my tail, and my ears were considerabely larger. My head was spinning, i could hear hundreds of voices talking to me.

i could see a figure in the doorway it stood frozen. I was scared my survival instincts kicked in i took a great leap over the figure, crashing into the stairwell. i rolled down the rest of the stairs and took a huge leap towards the door, i made it out only to be greeted with a huge hammer to the face.

Myst

The thing sitting in the room didn't stay long as Myst watches it jumps over Tasha and bounds down the stairs. Turning she sees Starblade standing there, torn between wanting to check him and make sure he is ok and asking him what he had been doing out of bed. Or going after the creature who she was almost possative had been the man before.

Desiding quickly Myst throws up her hand, making a fist singing loudly, knowing that the spell would not harm the creature but would maybe give them time to calm him. Not wanting him to kill anything or anyone, if she was right then he would be fighting the instint to kill and feed. At least that was usually what people of her race did when they transformed for the first time.

Turning to Starblade Myst mind speaks quickly," Watch over the babe and let Tasha know not to follow the creature. I shall return shortly, hopefully it will be with the man but I cannot garentee that part." Moving quickly down the stairs pulling to her mind the form of her cat, feeling the muscles stretch and form giving a cry as she bursts through the door. Where once stood a female now stands a great cat of power unlimited. Finely toned to perfection, fur the color of midnight, and bright green eyes looking about with a uncanny intelligence.

The great cat lifts its head, and takes in all the scents about it, crouching low to the ground feeling the power of its movements. Swinging its head back and forth, as it begins to stalk forward through the town.

Tasha saw something jump over her head and run out the broken door. Seeing Myst run after it Tasha started to head for the door when Starblade stopped her, telling her to take care of the wet nurse, and baby. Glancing thru the broken doorway Tasha watched as Myst changed shape and admited that this was indeed out of her hands.

Walking over to the woman she gently removed the baby from her hands and begain talking soothingly to try and calm them both down.

Starblade

Shocked as he saw the creature, and got a good look at it, and flattened himself to the wall, he listened Myst still shivering. As Tasha came by he got her to stop and walked into the room huddling in the corner, his cloak tightly wrapped about him, his head would twitch back and forth as he looked around.
