Acrolaw... open...

Rayet still looking more pale then normal, he looked around trying to see what could distract him, he saw that lady from earlier, magic still wrapping tighter and stronger than before. He approached her, and made eye contact He said as he reached out to touch her on her temple through the hood. Are you all right? Do you need any healing or restoration of any kind? He looked at her with his mismathed blue and green eyes. Watching her for a reaction, he didn't remember if she responded last time but she should have, justin did.

Tasha woke as Rayet came inside, and watched as he went over to where Wyst, and some of the other's were. Sighing she decided she had rested long enough. they still needed to move everyone to a safer place, and tho it wouldnt be easy to move them in the dark it would be better cover.

Getting up, and stretching. She walked over to see how Grok was faring...as well as Wyst and the other's. Running her thoughts by them about moving the other's in the dark..She wanted to get everyone's input on the situation...

We dont have to decide right at this moment... i'll let you all think about it a little bit. I'll go ask Justin what he think's as well. I dont want anyone's opinion left out of this one.

Slipping outside to talk to Justin. Tasha didnt know why, there was something about him, as well as Grok that caught , and held her attention.

"All creatures come from the great God above. I believe that we choose to be who we will be no matter who or what are parents are. You will always be safe with me" Andre mindspeaks to Myst. "Aye I can mindspeak. I can do much but choose to use the strength of my arms. One can become to dependent on the magical arts."

*Speaking out loud* "We need to leave here soon. There is nothing here now, and we must warn the other villagers" There are more horses, for those that can ride.

Justin's eyes were watching the stars twinkled above. He already kicked out the fire to let the meat cool. As he watched the sky, old memorys began to slowly invade his mind. He patted his forehead twice, breaking his daydream, not wanting to dwelf into a memory he could care less for.

Justin layed back in the dirt and lifted his hand. He made a slow circular motion, and as he did so, a white wind started to follow his fingure, becoming larger the more he moved his fingure around.

The wind began to change colors, from white to green, from green to red, from red to black... And back to green. Justin noticed somebody comming. So he sat up and shook his han back and forth, clearing away the small spell.

"So you're awake?"

Blushing Tasha nodded.. Aye i am awake..mind if i join you?? She had watched Justin making the color's in the air before comming forward, and had thought what he had done was very pretty. She didnt say anything tho she could tell by the way that he tryed to hide it when she came forward. That he hoped she hadnt noticed.

Uncomfortable with the silence as she waited for him to let her know wether she could join him or not. She said.
I talked to the other's about moving the villager's tonight.I would like to hear your thoughts as well. I know it will be hard, but i think that we should leave this place. Looking over at the boar she smiled It smelled fantastic, and again she found herself greatful that he and the other's Wyst, Grok, Andre, and Rayet had come to help her, Silvia and the other's when they did.

Myst

Releasing the breath she knew she had been holding Myst reaches out gently to take Andre's hand in hers. Bringing it gently to her lips placing a small kiss on his gauntleted hand. "Thank you those are the kindest words I have ever heard from a human." Using mindspeak so no one else might over hear her. Looking to Andre showing him she meant her words and appreciated it.

Only then did she notice Rayet moving towards them, slightly weary of the bird/elf man Myst watchs closely. Preparing incase he had over her, tho not wanting to battle she would if it meant her life. Trying not to flinch away as Rayet's hand reaches out touching my temple.

Are you all right? Do you need any healing or restoration of any kind?

Understanding his problem of communicating Myst uses mindspeak to talk to Rayet. "Yes thank you a bit tired, tho no worse for wear. I believe I have the herbs in my pouch to help gain my strength back." Thinking this to Rayet.. Myst's eyes begin a search for the item she was telling of.

Rayet blinks, and puts a hand on her arm, I'm sorry about this intrusion, I do not speak your language, I've never met non-people before. No, I'll do it, do not worry. You're tired and you seemed to expend so much energy for these non-people. so my last work for today will be for you. I noticed you originally because your magic burns brightly around you, although apparently that man you were talking to earlier, seems quite capable himself. He smiles at her, and gives her a smirk.

Kneeling down and taking a deep breath. He places the jewel on his forehead to the ground, and hums, as the humming starts to resonate from the building, he continues louder, until it's snot a hum, but vibrations issued from his throat. He opens his eyes, filled with power, glowing slightly he touches her on her forehead and the power within him transfers directly to her, the sound stops and his eyes go back to their individual colors. Rayet's panting, sweat coating his head and neck, his hands clammy. He looks up at this woman one last time eyes glazed with exhaustion. He could sense it, her control of the power around her strengthened and her eyes were no longer looking tired, she should have felt as if she'd had a very very good rest.

He gives her a weak smile The giant hawk hops over and looks imploringly into her companion's eyes. Tilting its head, it pulls a hook from it's sheath in back, to reveal a few feathers falling out of his cloak. Rayet says outloud, "diolle" to his bird. He puts the curved end against the ground, using it like a walking stick, limps out of the building, and tries to use his other hand to climb up the roof. Still exhausted, failing to pull himself up he limps back inside, and collapses to the ground in front of the door. Chest still heaving, crosses his legs and bent forward to slump into unconsiousness.

Justin sat up and smiled. "Sure"

'I talked to the other's about moving the villager's tonight.I would like to hear your thoughts as well. I know it will be hard, but i think that we should leave this place.'

"Tonight?"

Justin looked back at the sky, thinking about it, yet he shook his head at the idea, thinking about the possiblilitys of an abush. "I'm not sure it is a good idea... The moring may be a better play..."

Blinking up at Rayet it took Myst a moment for his words to sink in. Non human, he knew but he was not telling. He was accepting her and wanting to help, which shocked her. Smiling gently at him as he placed his hand on her arm gently. The energy that flowed into her was almost to much, within a matter of seconds what she had used earlier had been replaced. But at what cost as she noticed the sweat beading on Rayet’s brow, his body shaking from his efforts to help her. Rayet’s smile caught her off guard as he stood slightly wobbling and headed out the door. Only to return shortly to fall in a heap just inside of the door, passed out from his exhaustion.

Giving a small cry of dismay Myst moves off the cot and quickly begins beautifully singing her voice rising. As she rushes towards Rayet, being very weary of his bird friend. As she gets closer she begins to singing softly so as not to anger the bird, Myst reaches over lightly touching Rayet on his shoulder. Then steps back and raising her hands Myst breaths thankfully as Rayet seems to be lifted from the floor with unseen hands. Quickly looking around for an empty cot and not finding any but the one she had just vacated. Slowly turning her body so that the floating Rayet doesn’t get jostled to much with the movement.

Concentrating Myst continues to sing only a soft tune now, as she takes several slow steps. Reaching the side of the cot she then steps carefully around it, so that she can bring the sleeping Rayet directly over the cot. Lowering her hands slowly, bringing him gently in contact with the cot. Before releasing her spell and her singing stops. Stepping forward cautiously crooning to the bird on Rayet’s shoulder Myst lays him down as best as she can without disturbing him. Pulling up the blanket and tucking Rayet within its folds, making sure that he is resting comfortably. Then humming softly she places a hand against his arm transferring some of what he had given to her back to him, along with a bit of healing as well. Not wanting to try to much of anything since she did not know whether this would hurt her new friend or not. Sending him a mindspeak message in his dreams, “Sleep well friend, you deserve it. No one shall disturb you this night you are safe... Sleep.”

Looking up at the villagers, saying softly. “He will sleep thru the night and be better for it on the morn. If I am needed please let me know. I must step outside for a few minutes to check on something's but shall return shortly." Saying this Myst locates her pouch pulling out several herbs before slipping out the doors soundlessly.

Moving around the side of the building Myst walks quietly into the night to find her peace. Finding a small clearing not far from the village she scouts around checking to see if anyone might have followed her. Or maybe one of the catmen might be near, finding no one she slips out of her robe letting it fall silently to the ground.

Sighing softly as the moon hits upon her black furred body, her long white hair brushing her hips. Raising her hands to the heavens and then down before her she pulls the herbs from the discarded cloak. Speaking in her mothers native tongue, using a soft sing song voice so no one hears her. Allowing the Moon Mother’s arms to embrace her, reviving the much needed strength she had used earlier in the day. Thanking the Father Earth for his help in her endeavors, asking both their blessings on the days to come. Knowing they will be long and strenuous on all involved. Feeling her answers she quickly gathers her belongings slipping the cloak back around her body, making sure all of her is once again covered. She heads back into the village quietly.

Carinea (the bird)

Looking at this woman, as she moved over to my master, she was starting a spell of some sort. I flapped off of him as he was raised by this woman and as she put him down on the cot, I felt it time to awake him to the fact that he was lying down after she left.

Rayet

Rayet awoke still exhausted, Carinea told him he was on a one of those things that everyone else was on. Quickly he sat up, realizing that he was on his back. His eyes widened in horror, fearful that they might have seen his secret. what did they see?

Nothing master, she cooed back at me. Relief flowed through him, barely slipping into reverie, arg and now this. Rayet tried to slip off the cot, and ended up stumbling to the ground. Rayet then proceeded outside again, forcing himself to go to the trees. Using everything he had, he climbed up a tree and rested on a branch. Instructing Carinea to awake him of any danger.

Your probably right.. it would be easyer to defend a building than it would be to defend everyone in the dark we would take the chance of people being scatterd and lost, or worse.. Tasha said sitting down, and facing Justin.

Hereing the door's to the building open Tasha noticed Rayet as he came out of the building, and then went back inside... and again a few moment's later. Wyst slipping of into the forrest, but just as she thought she might follow to see if she was alright. She saw Myst slip back. Shaking her head she smilled. Thinking that magic user's were strange.

Justin.. why is it that all of the magic useser's hide themselve's, and what they can do? i for one am greatful for all that you, Myst and Rayet have done, were it not for your magic's we all would have been slaugterd.. Grok, Andre, and i would have died. Had it not been for the magic's you all weild

Andre left the building shortly after he saw Myst leave. Looking for the men he had ridden in with. He knew that some of them were still out there, he could hear there mindspeak. He knew that no one else was on this same level of mind speak.

Moving quickly through the deserted streets, Andre found his friends. "You need to check the perimeter" he thought to Mickail. "How many have we lost? So many, so few left. I will head back, there are some interesting creatures... No, No sense in them knowing who I am just yet... No I will be fine. I have taken care of myself thus far. Yes , thank you for holding that for me." taking the offered item, he quickly hid it in the pouch at his belt. " Talk to me if there is danger, else we wil meet here in the morning."

Returning silently to the building, Andre slid in against a wall, and faked sleep.

Myst

Slipping back into the confines of the building Myst looks to the cot that Rayet had been left on. Noticing he was no longer there, "Where has Rayet been taken? He was to sleep."
Watching as a small girl approaches her relaying to Myst that the bird man left shortly after she herself had slipped out. "Thank you little one." Reaching out to lay her hand against the child's head. Playing softly with the curls there, bringing memories of her own mother to mind. "Join your mother little one and rest, tomorrow will be a long day and you both shall need it."

Looking around at the room Myst sees Grok asleep tho fitfully his size not fitting the cot so well. Silvia must have sat down to rest for she was sitting in a chair asleep. Head slumped forward, resting in a most uncomfortable position from the looks of it. Andre looked to be asleep against one of the walls, he as well had found a chair. No sign of Tasha or Justin being in the building.

Walking quietly around the room pulling blankets up around those who had lost theirs. Gathering blankets for those who needed them, Myst made sure that Silvia had a blanket and using a extra blanket to gently lays Silvia's head back giving her a make shift pillow. Stepping up to Grok, Myst decides there is nothing she can do to make him more comfortable. Then steps over to Andre, he was laid back in his chair with his head tilted to the side slightly. Pulling a blanket up softly around his form, making sure to be gentle so as night to wake him. Placing her hand softly on his arm, sending him a message for his dreams. "Thank you for you kindness again, I shall repay you somehow my friend." Turning away to look once again watching those around her feeling very impressed with the small band of villagers as well as warriors. Before walking silently out the door to look for Tasha and Justin and maybe find Rayet.

Andre snapped to full attention when Myst left the building. He feared for her safety. Many strange beings walked these grounds after nightfall. Staying safely behind her, watching, listening to make sure all was well.

Carinea looked around making sure, nothing dangerous came too near. She hid in a tree adjacent to her master. She had a clear view of the building, and watched as that same woman whom master had helped earlier came out. That woman was odd, didn't know why master helped her, master helped very few females, except for that one. She shook her head, no there was no way master could ever do that. She wasn't even of the people. Carinea watched as that woman picked up a shadow, unsure of whether master would approve, she hopped down to get a better look, from the rooftops. She hid herself, master was in no danger anyway, waddling like other birds of prey, she watched as the lady moved and the man followed her, she decided it'd be best if master were alerted, especially, if she chose to find him, and instead found trouble. Master, look through my eyes

Rayet

The elf felt Carinea calling to him. He felt it in the distance, muddied and not clear. He didn't want it to be clear, only partway through reverie. He heard her calling again, still not seeming to be urgent he decided he'd stay in reverie a little longer until he heard her sharp and clear in his mind.

He opened his eyes, he grabbed a piece of cloth and wrapped it over the jewel on his forehead and let it cover his right eye, tying it tightly on his head. He preferred to use his green, left eye in the night, it was suited better for those purposes. Sighing, what's wrong?

That woman you helped is searching around, I believe she's searching for you master.

Great, he thought, a non-person is after me, now what'd I do. Still tired but not as exhausted as before, Rayet felt he should be able to land on the ground with no problems. He jumped to another tree and hopped from branch to branch until he got near the ground before he hit the ground. Still weary that he might hurt himself, it was useful growing up in high places, Where is she now?

You're too tired to look through my eyes, I'll fly up you can see me. He waited, looking in the air, then he saw her, flying very high in the air. He longed to rush through the air as she was doing but he understood he would have to walk over to where she was.

Walking with fingers against the jewel on his forehead in case of any attack, he was afraid that he might get attacked or something. He found the lady. Dropping his hand from the jewel he bowed, and said I'm sorry I have not introduced myself yet, he stretched out his hand to shake hers, the people call me Starblade of Windsong clan, is there something wrong?

Grok awoke with a start, woundering where he was, how had he got here...looking around he let out a loud sigh of relife, he was in the healing house, the last thing he rememberd was the gentle Silvia sothing his raw palms. Seeing her there asleep in a chair made Grok feel like such a selfish lug, him sleeping in a bed when he should be on watch, and her curled in a chair with a cover for a pillow. Slowly and quitly Grok gentle picked her up and layed her on his bed, tucking the cover around her so she would be warm, she is such a cute little thing and such a skilled healer, he noticed as he stretched, the brun on his face was healed, he had a thin layer of new skin already covering his palms and his shoulders hardly ached at all, he had always been a fast healer, but this, this he could get used to way to easly. Slowly and softer he brushed the hair out of her face, and thanked the little healer quitly.

Steping out of the healing house he saw Tasha and Justin talking around a fire, hunkering down on the other side he gave them both a sheepish smile, he owed them both an appaligy for his missunderstanding in the woods, he would make it up to Justin, he had earned Groks trust. But how to make it up to Tasha, she had alread done so much for him by inviting him into this camunity, wiered thou it may be..sighting at his own limitations, Grok asked them, Have planes been made? I have no powers such as you Justin or some of the others... but i can hunt, scout, and fight, where am i needed?

Tasha smiled as Grok came to join her, and Justin. Welcome Grok .. its good to see your wound's are looking much better.. we are discussing plan's now..do you have any idea's?

Justin looked back at the sky for a second, then looked back at Tasha. "There are... Many reasons why magic is used so secretively. Some because they fear it may go into the wrong hands, others because they are ashamed of it.

But... Probaly the biggest reason is because of fear, espeacialy when around humans."

Justin saw the utterly confused look on her face. This made him laugh. "Humans are naturally non-belivers. This means that unless they understand it, they fear it. That is why witches are burn alive, though the truth is that not all, in fact, very few are indeed evil. Its also why other breeds like Myst, Rayet and I hide themselfs when around humans. We're considered oputcast, or demons."

"In other words. We hide our magic around you and the others because after so long, we're used to humans freaking out when we reveal our true selfs."

Justin's eyes shifted torwards Grok as he came near, greeted him with a smile and a nod.

Wincing at Tasha's quistion, Grok answered, " you ask idea's from me Ma'am? we must be in even more.. trouble then i thunk" giveing her quistion serius thought, he finaly answered, " We do what needs to be done to live" pointing at the healling house " to protect" staring straight into thous beautifull eyes, " we look for beauty even among " Grok waved around him at the destrucktion of her villiage, " We fight" nuding to himself " yes.. we fight, to the last drop of blood in us" shruging at Tasha, " only plans... Idea's I have, will help where needed"

Realizing that was the most he had said of what he thought an felt outload in the last 20 years, Grok blushed profusly, ducked his head clamed up and stared into the fire.

Myst

Myst was unprepared for Rayet’s appearance and it startled her, giving a small warning growl before she could stop herself. Then realizing it was indeed Rayet she felt herself relax slightly. His word strong in her mind asking what was wrong.

Giving him a small smile and then using the mind speak, “Nothing is wrong I was just needed a bit of the night. It seems that all magical creatures find the night to slink around in. Wrapping themselves in it, it gives them a since of security and wellbeing.” Looking around to spot Tasha, Gruk and Justin all around the fire talking. Then looking back to Rayet, “Starblade of Windsong Clan that is a very nice name, I am known as Myst.” Looking slightly away so the pain of her next words were not seen, “ I no longer have a clan so I am just known as Myst.” Pushing the memories away Myst takes Starblade‘s offered hand gently in her own giving it a shake.

Then curious as to why he did not sleep she asks, “Why did you not sleep? You must be so tired you have done so much for all of us, and I must thank you for your kindness earlier. Please tho do not waist so much energy on me there are others who deserve it more at this time.”

Looking to the bird in the sky circling them, “ She is a beautiful companion, very protective of you I see. It must be wondrous to fly the skies at night seeing all, knowing that nothing can harm you up there.”

Not expecting a warm welcome he smiled towards her. My clan has rejected me because I'm not a full warrior like the rest of my family, do not worry Myst. The elf broke out into laughter when she inquired about him not sleeping. I did get some rest, quite frankly, I'm used to not getting a full cycle. My people aren't creatures of the night either, I'm somewhat different from the rest of them. He looked up as she pointed to his hawk. Wow you must really know birds well, she is a she. He turned to look at her, with his left eye again, As for your answer, if you want to fly, just ask, but not now, I must go back to rest. He eyed the fire with his green eye and shuddered You can join the others, I'm not sure what they're up to but I don't want to go near that fire. If you choose to find me just go near the forest, and my hawk will show me where you are. He smiles again and walks off to the forest.

Myst

Myst watches as Starblade moves back into the forest, then looking to the bird. Thinking yes someday perhaps this cat can learn to fly. Before moving a bit further away from the fire, but not going directly into the forest.

As she continues to move amongst the rumble of the freshly destroyed village. How can humans rebuild as they do? Is it their ability to adapt or just the need to survive? Several questions pressed Myst. This was after all her first time of being around humans for so long at one time.

The caverns where her mother had been born were dark, ugly places. Not full of the wonder of the night sky, or the sounds the insects make. Walking while thinking Myst found herself on the outskirts of town before she knew it. Looking up in dismay at the area she was in. She knew this was not safe and yet she was drawn to continue walking. Turning she headed back into town walking slowly, just releasing some of her need to be moving. Knowing it was the night calling to her, calling to her blood and all that made her alive.

Thank you Grok.. your help will be most welcome...There is still much to be done, but i think for now we could all use some rest. The best i can think of to do would be to set up watches between all of us. So that everyone has a chance to rest. Tela said to Grok as she gave what Justin had said some serious thought.

You are all welcome here... i wish i new how to help you, and the other's feel more welcome, but i feel that only time will do so. Please know that I shall not juge you, or any one in any way.. Only those who have harmed me, and mine shall have need to fear me, and as i have welcomed you all. You, Grok, Myst, Rayet, and the other's you are all included as a part of my clan. This I so Vow.

Justin, though surprized by Tasha's words, hid his emotions very well. 'Do I want to stay here? Should I stay here? No, the real question is... Can I stay here?' Justin stood up and put out what was left of the fire. Justin's eyes flickered red as the fire sturgled to live, just before it died out completely. Memorys once again shot through his mind.

Justin took a slow, deep breath, then let it out as silently as he could, wiping the dark memorys away. "Thank you Tasha. I, and I'm sure the others appreciate it."

'Though,' Justin thought to himself, 'I'm... Not sure if I can stay....'

A few hours later, Rayet awoke the sun was rising now.

He felt much better, having not gotten a full cycle of rest since a decade? two? Wow, it has been some time since I have gotten full rest. Now where's that Myst woman, he was thinking as he took off the strip of cloth that he used to cover his right eye. The jewel he didn't feel like expending energy in calling it away. Corellon, home was so far, I wonder how my cousins were. "Arrgghh" Rayet screamed as he punched the tree as he stood up, repeatedly punching it. His scream, he realized probably awoke everyone else, Oh well, at least I don't have to end up finding them all asleep, and have to deal with the fire, he shuddered at the thought of fire.

He dropped down gently on the ground. Not sure what to do, he noticed that Carinea was sleeping, He called forth a sentry for her, after that he set off wandering around looking for that Myst woman.
