Myst
After walking for a time, she knew not how long. Myst found herself stopping every so often to look behind her feeling as if something, someone was there. Not seeing anyone she continues walking, picking up rumble moving it about. Unsure of what she is really doing but just needing to do something, wanting to feel at peace. Finally deciding it wasn't doing her any good Myst heads quietly towards the far off forest. Away from where everyone else would be. She needed to speak with her goddess asking for guidance and maybe some peace. Stepping into the quiet of the forest, welcoming the sounds of the night as they embrace her.
Finding a clearing of sorts, Myst sits down crossing her legs. Calling deeply within her using her astonishingly beautiful voice softly appealing them to hear her."Come to me goddess I implore you, I have need of thee. Please answer my pleas and know that your child awaits with open arms. So I ask it, so mote it be." Remaining still feeling for the knowing warmth, letting her know that the Lady had heard her.
The answer was slow in coming, almost so slight Myst barely felt it. Asking in her softest of whispers, "Why am I here Goddess... am I here to see all this damage to feel the pain of loss. To know that I do not fit in with those here? Am I always to stand alone, always alone?" Knowing she was committing a sin against her Goddess but unable to stop herself from asking all the same.
Myst didn't realize she was crying until the first tears hit her arm. Then she couldn't seem to stop, tho not once did she make a sound. When the tears finally ceased to fall, Myst felt numb. As if all the pain had been washed away, leaving her to feel nothing but peace. "Is this to be my answer then dear Lady?" Within her came the answer, one she had sought for. *smiling softly* "Yes, M'Lady.. I shall and I will." Standing, turning to return to town hoping that no one would notice her absence.
