it keeps saying that my picture is too big! how do i make it smaller?

Use photo editing software to reduce the dimensions and/or file size. A good, free program is Irfanview.

Go to microsoft.com

Type "powertoys" into the search window

Find imageresizer.exe

Download it (will only take a minute)

You can then right-click any pic and resize it

That's fine for resizing the dimensions, but it's often the file size that's the problem, so something like Photoshop or Irfanview is necessary to meet the size limit requirements on profile pics, AVs and attachments that are fine dimension-wise.

Cool plug-ins though; I grabbed a couple while looking at the image resizer.
