Advice: Should I be upset?

It is also not uncommon for there to be, in a relationship (esp. marriage), masturbation that is more satisfying (and even more frequent) than intercourse, though, when there aren't lies, it's more common to hear this from women. So I ask (not speaking of cherry's situation), should a man, on learning this, get into an angry uproar, as several posters are suggesting for the present situation? Would R Richard say to the _man_ in this situation "Nobody needs a jerkoff?" (namely the masturbating wife).

It was not my intent to dump on masturbation. However, when masturbation completely REPLACES sex, IMHO you have a jerk off and nobody needs that kind of a jerk off.

Thanks

Hi.
Thanks for everyone's advice and discussion. Can't believe I'm posting sex problems on a forum, but hey at least it was an interesting discussion. I had just never had this problem before.
My ex boyfriend was a sex fiend! So I went from one extreme to the other.
I tried talking to my little guy last night. He ended up just standing in my door and saying "I'm confused".
So no more for me. I don't need a porn star record setter, but a good oral session would be fabulous. At this rate I'd go faster than a tootsie roll tootsie pop. You can bet any new stories from me will include lots of oral descriptors.

Thanks guys. Some of you touched my heart. Now I'm gonna go touch something else for awhile.

Toodles.

Oh, and the Irony is...

Oh.
And just to show I appreciate a good Irony as much as the next girl, and to show how completely UNLIKE me it was to post such a thing as I have....

For all the folks that think therapy is a good idea for my friend, and some for myself.....

I am a therapist.

What? Even shrinks get horny.

well this backs up the theory that you can't learn everything from a book :)
Honey I hope you will be alright, but what we as women think is sexual norm isn't always. You learn something new every day, and the truth is there is no normal sexual relationship, and who would want one? Your man obviously has some issues and what we have to say is just speculation on what those are. But in the end the issue will really rest with you.
Can you deal with his sexual behavior, can you find a satisfying way to be with this person, without causing him discomfort , or making him put aside his needs.
If you truly are a therapist , then you will unstand addicting behaviors. Mastrabation can be an addictive behavior just like a drug, because like a drug you are addicted to the pleasure aspect of it.
However your earlier statement about not being able to get him up no matter what you did , does lead me to believe you are dealing with someone with sexual dysfuntion problems. Contrary to popular belief most men can do it several times on a given night if the stimulation is there, and if everything is working correctly. The first night the BF and I had sex we had sex 6 times each ending with ejaculation, and he was 34 at the time, so not just a enigizer bunny type teenager:) . If it is dysfuntion, he will have to be the one to seek help, unless you want to start giving him Saw Pallametto vitamins on the sly , that does usually help , however it also tends to make a man more fertile also , so be careful. Really I wouldn't do anything without his permission, so maybe you can just convieniently drop a hint about what to do with a dysfuntion problem , and hope he will go and make a move on his own.
Best of luck to you,
Nymphy
