I've always been told voting Tory is like watching porn. Everyone does it, but no-one admits to it.



My greatest puzzle, is that you know exactly what they have done in government (and therefore will carry on doing) but people STILL vote for them?

When I went to university I read loads of these type books. Didn't really study much of what I was supposed to but I did grow up a lot.

Need to reread quite a few of them.

Aldous Huxley BNW read that as well. Interesting there is now a drug on the market called SOMA

I am a huge fan of Arthur C Clarke, especially Rendezvous With Rama, I just loved that book and so want that to be made into a movie.

I am a big fan of both Bradbury and Heinlein Stanger in a Strange land was one of my favorites.
The Martian Chronicles Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Illustrated Man were three of my favorite Bradbury's

I forget much of DS9. Odo was a lonely, lovelorn guy...but also a shapeshifter, right? Seems to me that sex with a shapeshifter could have significant upsides.

They bonded in a huge puddle/lake. Like a mass orgy of silver salty seas.

He wasn't that lonely, he fancied Kira, but he put his duty first (hark at me sounding all soap opera)

I loved his character, part policeman, part customs officer, always giving Quark a hard time.

There was an episode, A Simple Investigation, where he gets it on with a solid. Part of the way through, she's curious about how Changelings normally experience intimacy, and he starts to transform (un/fortunately (depending on your squick factor) the episode cuts away at this point).

LOL. I have it on PS and really enjoyed the game while I played it.. had to take it off to free up space for the kids games but it's a very good game.

Sadly no on Watchmen (and The Mandalorian).

LPT: if there's a series you're interested in, wait for it to conclude, THEN get a free trial of whatever service is offering it.

Hmmm... Maybe. I'm sure Disney isn't available in the UK until March and no idea where Watchmen is on.

But... Only a week until The Witcher and Altered Carbon is back next year (I think) and Lost in Space is getting season 2.
