After this, we all know the next move by Deep State

If it doesn't go his way at that level he'll probably appeal it to the SCOTUS.

Any continued stay after the appellate ruling requires SCOTUS to grant cert.

Not going to happen. The Robert's court doesn't accept political hot potato cases.

The game is still in the early stages. No one knows the outcome and believing that you do only shows that you're partisan and a fool.
I have to agree about the polls. But it does seem that both sides latch on to whichever poll supports their favorite candidate. Trump supporters love to crow about every time he's up by one or two points on Biden.

Trump trying to delay his trials means he thinks he’s going to lose. If he were confident about winning he’d want the trials to be over as quickly as possible so he didn’t have them hanging over his head and could concentrate on campaigning.

I believe it's either that, or he's using the pending trials as campaign fundraising fodder and to build a fire under his base. The same tactic Republicans have been using for years now, with immigration, gun control, etc. They don't want to actually solve the problem, because they want to continue using it to get reelected. Fear and hatred are the only things Republicans have to sell.

Everyone is entitled to due process. Due process requires that the defense have adequate time to prepare.

In Trump's case everyone seems to want to rush to trial without giving the defense the opportunity to be prepared.

The question is why? Is the government afraid it's going to lose? You'd think that if the government's case was so ironclad they wouldn't be concerned if the defense actually had access to the evidence instead of preventing the defendant from seeing it. I find the argument that even though he physically had it in his hands when he was President, he shouldn't even be allowed to view it now sort of disingenuous, don't you? What is the government hiding? And why are they trying to hide it?

Polls have shown that they're worthless. It's so bad that now they're saying that polls are a snapshot in time and don't predict the future. Which is kind of why polls exist so saying that they don't do what they're designed to do is stupid.

Everything your side does to Trump increases his political support.
We are all one side.

We all want to see justice done to the wealthy and powerful who commit crimes against our country and think they are above the law. Because America is all about equal justice. If you don't agree and want to see Trump walk, get off scott free, for the multitude of crimes he has committed, then that is because you are either a traitor to America and everything America stands for, or, you are simply not an American.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you are the latter.

Consider a mafia boss. Someone who has attained wealth and power through coersion and force and has bought his way into power, and can easily influence a jury and a court. This mafia boss has committed acts of murder, treason, drug running, extortion, racketeering, and other violent crimes. Everyone knows he is guilty. But nonetheless, he keeps escaping justice, time and time again. Does this mean he isn't guilty? It means that if you are wealthy and powerful enough, justice can be bought and you can get away with whatever you want.

Such is the case with the Deep State, and it's biggest Mafia boss- Donald Trump, who has (ironically) done more to further the interest of the Deep State than any president before or since. It is in the government's best interest to pull all the stops to bring him down, to not let him slide just like the typical Mafia don or deep state actor- because that is equal and fair justice. We should all want that and support that.

Just like, I am sure, we all wanted the government to bring down Bill Clinton. Honestly, how many of you who foolishly defend Trump today, in spite of his blatant crimes against our country, wanted to see both of the Clintons locked up for their corrupution and crime? I'm guessing, most of you. You should want the same for Trump.

Meanwhile Nancy Pelosi's son has somehow avoided being charged for the 7th time while his cronies in business with him are being sentenced for money laundering.

Yet you say we all want to see justice done to the wealthy and powerful who commit crimes...

I don't agree. They took the Dobbs case didn’t they?

I think they will take it and reverse the DC Circuit ruling.

Much ado about ... nothing. This is the meat of the matter:

The trial start date was removed from the calendar. Crazies, going wild, felt it killed Trump's charges. It didn't.

As one attorney for the parties in the case noted, it was removed because a jury questionnaire needed to be filled out and had questions about being available on the proposed, original date. Since the date in question depended on Trump's appeal(s), that date remained uncertain. Consequently, the calendar was cleared. It will come back.

The three-judge circuit panel yesterday made their unanimous decision since this event - denied Trump's claim of being immune from prosecution. Truman's lawyers have until Tuesday to make the Supreme Court appeal of the circuit's finding. That's a further push for the trial date to reappear unless the Supreme Court side in Trump's favor.

So, nothing to look at here. Just conspiracy nuts conjuring up night goblins one more time.

Nothing will happen until people realize that MTG is a deep plant by Q to make MAGA look dumb. Once MAGA is finished, the lizard people will rise with their lasers and take over.

Remember, lizards are not real.

Why do people want to rush to trial? Fairly obvious answer to that question.

They want to know the outcome of his guilt or innocence before they vote in the Presidential election. I do. If he is guilty, I would not vote for him. Based on the charges, he would be unfit to hold national secrets in his hands if he were guilty.

With regard to seeing the evidence, I'm not sure it is the case of Trump personally viewing them. They will be evidence entries viewed by many individuals, jurists, for instance, w/o appropriate classification clearances - matters of public record. So no, it's not sort of disingenuous to keep the documents secured even though he had already shared them with a number of individuals outside the Need to Know considerations, let alone any right to view classified info. I believe that is why the charges were crafted to try and safeguard the high-level sensitivity levels. Jack Smith limited his range of options to narrowly focus those charges. It could have been much broader based on Trump's actions.

Trump could have acted promptly and returned the documents, and there would have been no reason to raid Mar-a-Lago by the FBI. Cooperation is not his way. It cost him over this poor judgment decision.

So, you want to rush the trial and prevent the jurors from seeing the evidence before they're told to convict the accused?

You're some piece of work.

Ahh your morning saying, which you repeat to yourself while shaving in the mirror in the morning.

I doubt many of the Deplorables on the PB still shave.

They're more likely to be like James B. Johnson: neckbeards, given up on social interactions, overweight, and infrequent showerers. ☹️

Well, if that's the case with Arpy, it's no wonder his legal practice is down the tubes....

Of course not. Have another chill pill. You asked, and I answered. I'm not rushing anything. If it's possible to have the trial before the election, we should have it. [I wasn't at the J6 gallows with a rope ready to hang someone legally doing his job. So I won't be outside the courthouse with one for Donald either.]

I said people want to know if he is guilty or not before they vote. Nothing in my reply indicated I was not for a fair speedy trial or seeing the evidence before he was convicted. You are jumping to some serious, erroneous conclusions here, Mr. Attorney.

Derpy Mason’s emotions and biases are affecting / ruling their perspective / judgement.

It happens a lot.
