I think the reverberating hum of voices was crossing in everyone's ears and the only thing that came out loud enough for all the women to hear was "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" Which, of course, hailed from Glynndah's neck of the woods and which we all converted with our newfangled and ever-deductive psychology to mean that there were no men here.
Psychology can be sad. :(

I love the second one *grins* but I'm kinky like that.

I wrote a masked ball bit into my NaNo novel *thinks* two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'd tell you more, but the novel's been submitted somehere so I better keep schtum icase it's accepted ;)
