Alex was exhausted as he stood in the arrivals hall at LAX. The flight from Australia had been ridiculously long and he had no idea what time of day it was.. he wasn't really sure what day it was.
He was extremely nervous...he'd never been out of Melbourne before and here he was in LA. This was a fabulous opportunity for him. An exchange program to give free education at UCLA. It would be a brilliant part of his degree when he graduated. He had to make sure he took this opportunity and not mess anything up.
His first task was to find the people he'd be living with...the documentation his college had sent him had told him to look for a family who should have a sign with his name on it.
He looked round anxiously
