I just googled Michele Hickford's name. She's quite a piece of work. She's been Allen West's PR chief for almost a decade, specializing in "BAD Negro! BAD!" op-ed pieces, which of course acquire (undeserved) gravitas when Allen West speaks her words.

Seems like this duo is trying to reposition Allen West as a replacement for Bill Cosby as America's Negro Scold.

Children having children have no right to make life decisions for others, that's the problem.

It doesn't matter. There will always be some children having children, and they necessarily make life decisions for their own children. "No right"? I would say they have a duty.

I hope that, despite all the evidence to the contrary, you don't doubt there is a cause and effect here. This particular form of welfare is usually called Aid to Families with Dependent Children and is abbreviated AFDC. There are other forms that also come into play, such as Public Housing and Medicaid and food stamps.

I think the main reason for illegitimacy is simply its acceptance, especially on the man's part.

Welfare just loosens the women's urge to abort.

I'm not outraged about anything but I am perturbed that some people need welfare and that there have always been people in this condition and always will be. But, I am even more perturbed there are some people sucking at the public tit who are not deserving, such as those women, of all races, who have a multitude of offspring and claim not to now the identity of the fathers. This prevents the fathers from being required to support their progeny as they should do.

Don't you think the ordinary woman don't care where the money comes from?

What's the use of claiming requirements from somebody who can't and won't afford it? What's the use of punishing the kids for such a father?
