ALMOST a who would you meet thread but not quite?

I also give everyone a voice as I read their posts. Sometimes it is based on what I know about a person, but often it is whatever pops into my head.

Not that you asked, but in my mind you, DCL, have a very even tenor with no distinguishable regional accent.

Well, I'm a coward. I get so nervous and intimidated when I think about calling someone that's not a real close friend. Shoot, I gues that would be everyone but hubby and my mother. Oh, I'm pathetic. LOL

Well, hell, that's pretty close. I'm more of a barritone, though the accent thing is right on.

When I was 22 I took an on camera commercial acting class and got to see and hear myself for the first time, and I was astonished at my pronounced Jersey accent. I worked damn hard at losing that sucker, over-pronouncing my "Ds" and "Ts" for years, to the point where you truly can't tell where I'm from. Unless, that is, I'm doing stand-up or I'm angry or holding court at a party or doing anything that exploits my natural tendancy to talk very quickly -- then it becomes pretty clear I'm a North East boy.

Cheri -- you never sounded like Rose Marie before, but you will now. LOL

Now don't you all start asking me what you sound like to me -- I can't describe it. It's that same sort of thing that happens when you hear the name of a month, and suddenly you think of a color. Say "Decemeber", and what colors and textures first come to your mind. How easy is it to describe them? It's sort of like that.

That would be an interesting series of threads. When I think of December, I get blue-green. November is orange. Hmm.

I can't say, but we've had several phone calls, write letters, and ICQ a lot. Next phone call Saturday.

CALL ME DCL CALL MEEEEEEEE!!!

Damn, me and my big mouth! And here I was hoping for Ginger!

Yes sweetie I did send you mail.

:p

Accents or not, just about everyone!!

I'd love to be able to put a "real" voice instead of the one in my head to everyone's posts. The only reason I don't use the talk option on msn or Yahoo or any of those is the same reason I don't have long-distance service on my phone: I NEVER shut up. lol. Well, I do on rare occasions....*eg*

No mail, I just checked again. DCL@Literotica.com.

And today I'm "Biker Boy", raising hell, born to be wild, weathered black leather, but kids love me.

Cheri, that is to funny....

Damn...Why don't you narrate one of your stories so we can hear your voice.

I called that number and Ramlick picked up. WTF?

Narrate a story, eh? That could be fun. But I don't possess the technology.

Siren -- got it, but now I can't seem to REPLY. Lit mail must not be feeling well today...

I have officially fallen in love with DCL, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm "Biker Boy" Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Jade honey, I talk to him every week so I guess I already have my wish come true. When I'm not talking to him I'm talking to Rosebud, who always makes me laugh I might add. Gotta love them, I tell ya :)

I have talked to Xander too and he has a very sexy voice. I would talk to him more but Time diffrences make it very hard.

I must add this though ... we don't have the accent ... you do :D Well that's what I always say anyway.

Dammit DCL...Pepsi squirting out of my nose hurts!!!! Next time warn me...Cool I got you thinking about narrating a story...let's go for broke...why don't you put your pic up too....

I have talk to many of the ladies on the web though, i have met quite a few, and we had a great time..

I have a southern accent, i guess its because i'm from the south..LOL...ya'all have a nice day or night, whichever the case my be.

Roll One, I for one think that you would be an interesting person to meet.

Neither of us would understand each other, My Aussie Accent and your Southern Accent.

Omg Nicole, i was just thinking, if we got together and had a kid , they would have a aussie southern accent..lmao

Where is my mind today, i ust have lost it somewhere...LOL

Ummm ... could we maybe talk and meet first??? Kids is a little drastic just yet don't you think???
