Notice how everyone is being so careful not to actually name anyone? Quite different from the earlier days of the board. Anyone else get the idea that there are probably quite a few people from here that already talk to each other of the board and they just don't want to admit it to the rest of us??? HMMMMM????

Has a call facility that means you dial and connect via the web to a phone, all you need is a sound card, microphone and speakers, (a head set will do) and it doesn't cost anything in addition to the connection to the Internet.
So no more international calls or long distance call charges.
You can use it from outside the States and Canada to ring there and can also use it within the States and Canada; as yet you can’t use it round the rest of the world
This is available on the latest MSN Beta version, go to msn.com and download it, or to your countries msn site.
Your choices though all the way, don’t forget that if you give your phone number to folks, you would have to do more to change the number, than just click the ignore function on the messenger box.

So far I've talked to two people form here. One was only once, but hmmmm what a nice southern voice she had! The other one happens more often, and I have to admit that I'm almost getting addicted to her voice!!
There is a couple here that have heard my voice, since I've recorded a short message for them and send to them. And I would really like to hear theirs some day too!!!
And then of course there is the voice greeting I've made on my site that greets people when they access it.

I have also talked with Ravenloft in the past and he makes you laugh just like he does here on the board.
My Fav voice is that of Havoc though, and not just because of my feelings for him but, well if you go listen to him on the Audio Poerty, think of his voice as softer and oh so sweet, he has a way of taking you to a calm spot that you didn't know exsisted.
I have also talked with Angelique and her voice is soothing.

Hmmm, I tell you what. I....ME think you have a sexy voice, and I have never had any problems understanding you, even with the Aussie accent.

If I had the choice...
... between seeing a picture and hearing the voice of someone I met on-line .. I think I would go for the voice.
There is just something in the way a person talks and expresses themselves, specially in the laughter or even little chuckles, that for me tells more about personality than any picture.
OK - now that was not the question huh?
So yes, I chatter away with people from the board on the phone (and other friends I met online in other communities as well)*lol* and yes, one special person does not only make my phonebills reach unknown heigths due to extended on-line time but additional long distance calls as well that are very rarely under 30 minutes, more likely 1 hour ....
There sure are some more people I would LOVE to TALK to (Yes Sweetie, YOU!! I still hope you will one day feel comfortable enough giving me your phone no.- you know, just once wasn't enough by far!!) ... it is so much easier than typing up those mails and much more personal and spontaneous ... but I am having a real "identity paranoia" and I won't be giving my name, address and phone number to anyone if not 200% convinced that it is "safe". I love the voice features on the computer though, and I will start to test msn, now that I see so many of you are using it *s* ...
so, hope to "talk to you" soon
