When Ree came back to check up on her, he found her standing outside on the balcony, listening to the wind and trees. Kazzy even allowed her wolf to help, sniffing the air, listening to anything, her eyes looked like her wolf, still multicolored, only her purple eye was crystal blue and the other golden yellow. By the time Ree had gotten close to her, he could hear a low growl coming from her. But to him and Kasa, there was nothing outside, no sign of life other than the wild.

Devan Long was taking his time miles from the castle, trying to repair another trap that had been broken by something. The past few days hadn't not been going well for him, and the latest order from the king wasn't helping his mood. The hunter didn't care the reasons behind the request, but he would do what his Highness ordered.

It was his third trap of the day when he discovered a strange clue. It was a beweled dagger that was partly covered by the leaves which had been used to cover the ground noose trap. The rope of the trap looked like it had been cut with a knife of some sort and the dagger was probably it.

"Well, well. Who do you belong to? Maybe Martha can figure that out."

Ree startled Kazzy when he touched her, his voice kept her from snapping at him in defense. Allowing her wolf to stay in the forefront, wanting to keep the sharper senses about her, sniffed the air again.

"It might be nothing.... but something isn't right, I can hear the trees talking but they are not making sense right now."

Kazzy knew something or someone was out there, but she didn't want to stress Ree out, or make herself seem crazier than she probably already looks.

"I will have to figure it out later... I'm hungry, what is there to eat?"

Smiled at him and acted like nothing happened.

"I am a pretty decent cook.. if you have the meat!"

It was mostly her wolf talking, she was hungry and so was Kazzy for that matter, it has been hours since she ate and it wasn't much.

Before she went to take her own bath and freshen up a bit, she took one last look out towards the humans town, sniffing at the air again, letting out one more growl before shaking the feeling off. Something was wrong and it was coming from the humans town.

"I need to freshen up first, would you like wash me?"

"Yes, we indeed have plenty of meat that you can cook with. It seems the Beast has a habit of bringing home more than he can eat, so I just store it in the dungeon."

He moved in beside the bathtub, pulling a stool over to sit upon it. He rolled the long sleeves of his robe up as she slipped into the warm water. He picked up the washcloth and soaped it up before washing along her body.

Kasa was at the door to the balcony, still watching out the window. She had started humming softly, the same song she was always humming.

Kazzy couldn't let go of this feeling, it was troubling her. The trees spoke to her, but it at the time it seemed like they were all speaking at once.

"If someone or something came here, what would they see? And, do you know if they are on the lands? Even if they some how managed to cloak themselves?"

She didn't know if that was the problem or not, she can see through most spells but wasn't sure if someone was actually here, or just working towards here. It felt like eyes were on her, watching.. perhaps even tracking her. When she looked around, there was nothing new.. all the same ghosts roaming around looking lost as ever.

Kazzy tried to focus on him, on his hands washing over her, it was soothing. Closed her eyes and took a deep breath, holding it for a moment before slowly letting it out.

"My wolf and another winged creature is fighting to change me... How do you control your wolf? I am trying, though right now it feels like I need her to come out. Can you change at will?"

She was trying to not ask so many questions, but she needed to find a way to control this wolf and this winged creature. Only one so far she liked was the quiet Dryad, she was nice.

"They both want to take control, feels like I am losing."

"well, I've set up illusion spells so that if anyone comes in, they would see an overrun garden of weeds, vines, dead trees, and perhaps a few dead animals. The castle would look run down with dust everywhere, cobwebs, broken furniture, and Kasa."

"As far as knowing when someone is near, Kasa gets some help from the ghosts and she lets me know."

He leaned back and wringed the washcloth out as he finished washing her.

"As for me and the Beast, we've come to an agreement of sorts. He'll let me use his abilities if I let him come out fully during a full moon. I can change freely when I want, but I don't do it very much. I haven't had the needed to do anything since I've been alone."

He leaned forward and kissed the top of Kazzy's head for a moment.

"I'm sure you can work something out with your wolf, and whatever else shares your body and mind."

The hunter took the dagger to the Martha, the mage employed by the king as well. She took a bit of time studying the weapon as Devan wanted her to.

"Give me a day to work my magic and I shall have something for you."

Satisfied with the answer, the hunter went about gearing up for a hunt for the trap destroyer, gathering supplies and men.

"It seems that I have some major meditating to do today... I will be gone for a couple hours. Three hours at most."

"What will you do with yourself without me here?"

Kazzy looked at Kasa, then at a few other ghosts, it never dawned on her that they can see through any kind of magic, they are on the other side, magic doesn't really apply to them so much, barriers and such yea, but simple things like illusions and cloaking spells they can see right through them. However, Kazzy didn't know if she could see through a cloaking spell, never had a chance to find out.

The more she thought about it though, the feeling she had gave her the notion that whatever is out there, they won't be using a cloaking spell.

"Where did you say the meat was?"

asked innocently while sitting on the bed, putting her boots on. Kazzy wore the same thing as she did last night, figured it wasn't really all that dirty, she hadn't worn for very long. Some dirt from when his wolf knocked her down, but easily dusted it off.

When they got to the dungeon, she realized she hadn't snooped down here yet, trying to peek around corners, but found it difficult to do while being draped over his shoulder.
