“False. Training to become an Enforcement and Removal Operations officer is 8 weeks long,” a senior DHS official wrote in a statement to the Washington Examiner on Wednesday.

Training was shortened in the wake of Congresspassing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which gave ICE $29.9 billion to hire staff, transport migrants, and detain families. On the hiring front, the money was intended for 10,000 new staff who specifically enforce immigration law within the United States.

I've got no idea why you chose to call me Charlie but I was quoting a government website rather than a newspaper, most countries would expect a government website to be more accurate. But as I've said from the start I'm open to correction and new facts coming out. Maybe the quality of government websites in the US is on par with the quality of the individuals they hire to be ICE agents.

To be honest, that's a bit lower than I thought.

I do know there's always been a sick presence in this country who gets a kick out of seeing "liberals" and "Democrats" being harmed and murked. Affordable healthcare, the environment, public education be damned, nah, let's 'own the libz'!

If only more people voted, we would not be in this predicament.

I saw the "support extrajudicial killing" poll (22%), and that spells disaster for the fascist Republicans in the midterm elections later this year.

Donald J. Sunset's core base has always been between 27 to 32% of the folks who turn out to vote (27% until lately). The new poll...22% shows a decline in the number of "Trump apologists". This is a natural consequence of the "double down until they bend the knee" philosophy. There may be a "floor" yet for the average hardcore Republican. This administration keeps doubling down on the hate and the fictional narratives. This is catnip for the gaslighters (Wat, Ishmael, WallStreatshitGuy, etc) but the average goosestepper is scratching his/her unibrow and mumbling "TWO white people? This is not what I signed up for!"

I would hope you would not trust and government websites at this point. The quotes in that article are from the acting ICE Director.

First he had 3 shots in the back.......and the weapon you showed he had a legal permit to carry......but it does not show up in any of the videos taken from different angles.
