That, uh, that is quite the interesting choice for a nurse to carry. I've definately seen more, tactical, types to choose a weapon like that. That bit of kit requires a decent holster and belt, not something most would conceal carry. Most nurses I know either carry a wheel gun or a subcompact Glock, but a higher end Sig with all the toppings on a seasame bun, not so much. I won't say it's not possible, buuuuuut, I have some lingering questions. I might have to get the 'puter out and see if I can get a better look at the old serial number on that bit of evidence and see what comes up. I am more on the fence of that is what was used to shoot the individual, rather than what the individual carried

I guess you missed the unprompted snark from the US Attorney for Northern California today who said that if you carry a firearm to a public event you should expect that law enforcement will find a way to legally shoot you.

There are plenty of extended versions available but who wants to sit through 15 mins of shouting & pushing before the action.

TLDW: Masked domestic terrorist approaches off duty nurse who is brandishing a lethal cell phone. Terrorist pushes the nurse backwards, nurse walks backwards. Nurse is wrestled to the ground by multiple terrorists, who go through his pockets looking for anything they can steal. They steal his gun. One terrorist then shoots the unarmed nurse and the rest scatter. The shooter moves around to the other side and starts shooting the nurse again.
