Thanks guys for all of the bumps and cute little comments!

For those that inquired, I am studing graphic design and I am really starting to stress. I spent the entire weekend in Seattle for Bumbershoot and I have my first project due on Thursday afternoon, so I am starting to get a bit ancy.

I took some pictures, but they were more for my inspiration for later pieces. They are all, "bloody" because they're shower shots from when I was washing my incredibly deep red dye out.

So, if there is in fact an interest in seeing something that morbid, I'll resize some, if not, no worries ;)

Hope all is well with all of you!

*hugs*

I would like to have a look. And if you don't mind I would like to get some more info on the GAs course. If your dealing with photography than I would like to talk to a friend in Boise and see if they would like to email tips and ideas to you.

I would love to see what the pics would look like if they were black and white except of the dye. Leave it red. I know that would be a big job but I know it can be done.

Yes, my friends and I do like to play with "morbid" pics to see what we can get. From doctoring a shot to creating it on purpose. Skills test to see if we can convince people that the situation is real and not staged.

I'll bathe myself in your blood and let it wash away all of my sins.
But please remember...your heart felt so good to smash

yes they are a bit bloody and yes maybe even gross.......but i love the way u captured the moment and they are def. artistic so all in all a thumbs up :D

rose to the challenge

not so difficult to change the picture to black and white except for the dye. Took me about 5 minutes at first rough attempt, I'll post it if diamante is happy about that.

Great pictures though, somehow the dye looks more like raspberry sauce than blood to me, but maybe that says something about me . . .

I have just read through nearly your entire thread, and I dont know where to start with my reply.

I suppose a good start would be to say that ALL of your pics belong in an art gallery. The photography is amazing. Even the "raw" ones (which I liked very much!)

Even without that, your body is art in itself. I'm hooked!

Yes they appear a little bloody, But still intriguing. Kind of "Carrie" like:)

Still great photos Di, and as usual great text accompanying the pics:cool:

My graphic arts will be geared more towards the outlet of advertising and web design, but I AM minoring in photography so I would love ANY tips and tidbits about the field and the like :)

Thank you all for such a accepting response to the photos.
I really liked the color and I loved the way the dark make-up accentuates it all.

And feel free anyone, to alter any of the photos in photoshop, and the like, and then post them on here!

Art begets art and it should be no different here!

I think that these posts were extremely sensual and gripping... the contrast of the red against your smoothe skin was breathtaking... Though I believe that there is one more sight to see... if but tastefully done...

This really was a quick effort, I do like the way that your lips retain the colour as well as the dye.

These were even better than I expected. The vampire theme really fits them! They came out fantastic!:rose: :rose:

:D

I really adore those pictures and would love to talk shop if you ever get more intense about photography. *flips*

A Poem For You...

First of all, I am new to Lit and came across your thread... you are absolutely stunning. I don't think I have seen anyone as beautiful as you before in my life... well at least not someone who has peaked such an interest to me. Someone who has inspired me to write the following...

Your eyes are like the Emerald Island
They shine as bright as anything I've seen
To be next to you I would go to no end
Just to look in those eyes of green

Your body is the epitime of beauty
One that should always be treated right
You are like a bird that flies free
Soaring both day and night

Lips so tender and sweet
If I could have but one kiss
Oh that ever we should meet
I would be in such bliss

Hair flowing in all its splendor
Soft as silk to the touch
Skin more silky and smoother
Can never feel too much

To kiss your lips
Or touch your body
Run my hands over your hips
And fully caress your body

To see your smile
And taste your sweetness
I would linger for a while
Getting in that last caress

Let me hold you close
Feel your body next to mine
A quick kiss on your nose
And put it all on the line

----

Hope you like the poem, it was really inspired by you... prolly always a work in progress, but there it is as it stands now.

Hugs and kisses

And thanks for the inspiration

:)  :rose:

Hon, you definitely have the artistic eye. And a beautiful set of curves, too (lol)...

Good luck to you in your studies - I'm sure you're going to do great!

Here's a picture of me...
It was my first design project.

It was all done in photoshop and was printed and made at 18 x 24. This is a MUCH smaller version so that you can see the entire thing ;)

It's supposed to signifiy the fire in my eyes and the passion I have for the arts.

Let me know what you think.
Be gentle though, that's over 900 individual layers and 35+ hours of work!

Hope you enjoy!
