I agree. I despise football in general and the Vols in particular. As a true student at the University I'm tired of true students' concerns "playing second string" to the concerns of the athletics franchise.

I think the athletics dept should be required to submit 80% of its profits to a general university fund earmarked for academic concerns.

Ugh. UT fans are rude. I went to an opposing college and was a majorette/flag girl for a while. While waiting to go on the field for halftime at UT I was groped, kicked, had my baton taken, shoved, and spit on. Uhm, hello? It's a GAME. *rolls eyes*

Well let me step up...

and admitt that I am a Big Vol Fan! But I don't consider myself a fan that wears blinders, " all I see is orange".

And yes there are so very rude fans across the state. But there are some just as nice also, i guess it's like everywhere else, you notice the "wackos" alot more often.

Didn't mean to get the whole UT vs UF thing up and going! Yes, I am a Gator fan, however, I've got to admit, Florida fans and Tennessee fans are both probably the rudest, most obnoxious fans around! Is that necessarily a bad thing?

I could agree more! Let's not re-live the entire UT-UF thing! Both fans are very passionate about their schools, nothing wrong with that!

Also, as interesting as it maybe, it doesn't make for a very erotic post, LOL

unless of course anyone has any good stories about UT - UF cheerleaders, players, or (just for talulah) majorettes/flag girls..
