A different perspective is that we are free to post whatever we like, and you are free to avoid reading threads that you dislike. I'm not sure why you would bump a thread just to tell us to settle down.

Personally, I think you should do the right thing and apologise to Etoile. Not only is she the MOD on the GLBT forum, but also one of the most well informed, friendly and helpful people on all of Literoticas boards. She is also held in the highest esteem not just by myself but by many others, respect is earnt, and she has earned bucket loads.

Intersex Definition

Intersex is a group of conditions where there is a discrepancy between the external genitals and the internal genitals (the testes and ovaries).

The older term for this condition, hermaphroditism, came from joining the names of a Greek god and goddess, Hermes and Aphrodite. Hermes was a god of male sexuality (among other things) and Aphrodite a goddess of female sexuality, love, and beauty.

Although the older terms are still included in this article for reference, they have been replaced by most experts (and patients and families) because they are misleading, confusing, and insensitive. Increasingly this group of conditions is being called disorders of sex development (DSDs).

Come on, when I was new here, then I thought *bad word coming* shemale was an ok word to use, but a friendly person said, that word was like calling her, a hooker/prostitute. And yes I have read his first posts. But be reasonable, I didn´t learn the first day I was here. But damn, there are more friendly ways. Than being so idiotic political correct all the time.

Heck, it feels at times that the innocense of the board has gone.

Nobody is being harsh with him because he's interested in a particular thing; he can be interested in whatever he likes. Nobody's being harsh with him because he doesn't know proper terminology; I'm happy to just tell someone what the polite word is and leave it at that. The reason he's getting this response is because of his attitude. He's being a prick, so he's getting treated like one.

Well, of what I can read in his first post, then he salutes the lovely girls, who have recomended him the site, and well, he is just so very forward, and says, that he is a sex addict, and he masturbates all the time. And well, I think you can find alot of sexaddicts here in GLBT.

So if being very forward in his writing, and a sexaddict,and writing the word hermaphrodite = being a prick. Then I think I have been a prick all the time. Sorry mates, if that is what I am . But I don´t see myself as that.

Heck, I have seen many drunk postings from people. So I don´t know what to say.

His rudeness starts in post #6. Instead of saying "I have heard differently, I am pretty sure what I said is correct" he says "no, you are wrong, you don't know what you're talking about so step off." Prior to that, I was fine with just telling him about the proper terms. But he got rude about it, and when I tried to reinforce that I was certain about the terminology, he decided he wasn't able to handle being corrected. And then there was post #29, which was just pure rudeness. So unless he's posting drunk all the time, he's being a prick in certain posts.
