I have dated very rich men, I was even the plaything for a very rich man when I was a young girl. Was it fun being shown the world, having the best of everything and being materialistically spoiled? Hell yes. But I felt like a caged bird and with a man of means you are a commodity. They think they own you because they hold the money and that money is power...which in many cases it is.

Money is power. There is no free ride. If someone else is paying your bills they hold all the cards and you will wind up doing all the dirty work and following their lead. It is not about gender, it about economics. There is no such deal as "You be sweet and cute and sexy and I will buy you a house and feed you for life." If someone is loaded the line of sweet and cute and sexy people ready to take your place is endless. I tell the college women I teach that, if they have a checkbook with only their name on it, never give up that account. Women and men both need their own money or they will be on the short end a power struggle for life. Money, relatives, kids and sex are four major causes of relationship stress.

I'm just curious because for the past few days, I've been obsessed with this idea of marrying a filthy stinkin' rich woman. And this is odd because usually women think this way about men and men just want a hot piece of ass.
