Anyone from the UK?

The wife and I are in a caravan at Wells-Next-The-Sea for the first time in many years. They have certainly gone up market. That said this is one that is owned by someone I know. We are here until Friday and then back to Northampton via Thetford.

Great part of the world. (Well Thetford isn't, and I use to live there once upon a time for sins)

Hope the weather holds for you

It’s a lovely morning here today, the suns out. Heading back to Thetford to drool over the new grandson, well the wife is. Son lives there as it is convenient for CentreParcs where he works. From what I have seen Thetford is best avoided.

We are being really lazy and not doing a lot 😂

Wow. Wells-next-the-Sea brings back some memories. Used to go there for the day as kid, and would sometimes stay there too. I used to love spending hours walking through the woods by the beach, looking for rope swings. That, and canoeing through the lakes by the caravan park.

Must go back there someday…….

Not quite. Near to Four Lane Ends and South Gosforth..

Costco is by the MetroCentre.
Well, it's pretty close by my directions 😂 Same county lol. Which explains why I add 30 mins + to the ETAs of all localish journeys - it's my 'getting lost' allowance 😂 Even the bitch in the box (Satnav) doesn't always help. Nice roads and scenery though so never a bind.

Honestly these people in caravans.

I'm clearly doing the wrong thing and having to work here....

Good job he doesn't know about Jacob Rees mogg in charge of the environment.
Have to wonder how long before we see the full might of Britannia Unchained.
a bonfire of the red tape holding business back
those pesky consumer rights, worker rights.

Morning UK. Anyone else get to watch the lightening show last night? It was awesome here.

No given the amount of shit weather we endure in Manchester you would think a decent thunderstorm now and again would not be out of the question. So no sadly no light show for me last night. I may have been asleep but given that heavy rain on the window wakes me would expect a thunderstorm to do the same

It was approx 12 - 1:30am here.

I love this kind of weather. Waking up with that fresh rain smell.

Mmmmm

Saw some awesome ones in Sydney many years ago.
But here its like general flash rumble and that is all she wrote
