Anyone from the UK?

Oh shame - the link didn't work. Bah!

I'm going sailing. There's sure to be wetness there, and swans and geese and cormorants

maybe a Shag if you are out at sea (hard to tell them and Cormorants apart though).

full goose report when you return, Ms Sticks, the migration season is upon us and the Brents, etc will be heading this way. Have fun on the water.

Good morning

Why is everyone up so early on a Sunday?

I'll have to look back and check on the filth that's taken place behind my back.

My flu jab was in my preferred arm, fortunately I'm not too stiff this morning.

Sadly, only Canadas and Greylags here in SW London. Mute Swans, haven't had a Bewick's in ages. The winter ducks are arriving though and i saw a Bittern the other week

That's bird news for now. Need more coffee

You can't see air unless it's raining or foggy
Technically you can only detect reflected light, often in the blue part of the spectrum in the case of air. Your body, for instance, has a very pleasing way of reflecting light into a camera lense, unlike my own.

Remember I posted a link to some knitwear I saw online? Beware - don't buy it. I listened to a radio 4 program ( may have been you and yours ) and it's a scam. Some people ordered and got a wrong-size t-shirt with a jumper pattern badly printed onto it.
I guess the old saying is true - too good to be true ( because it's crap from China )
The first clue is usually a lack of a postal address on web site. If in doubt do a reverse search on the photos they are usually pirated from genuine sites.
