I vaguely remember Top Gear talking about this. And my local car wash had it in a bottle. There is a product called New Car smell. A mix of wood, leather, polish, and “new fabric “ (like a carpet shop smell).

I remember sitting on an oldies knee, snuggled in front of the telly watching Jeremy Clarkson. The smell of humbugs and brill cream.
