I’ve had an acer swift 3 and my wife has the acer aspire 3. We’ve had them a couple of years and still pleased with both. The swift is also good for graphics. Both fast and stable.

I went MSI Stealth A16. My previous MSI from 2014 still going strong.

My ROG Zephyrus (2021) although very good died at years to the month and cost of repair higher than the MSI.

I had Xmas visit from Daughter #2 and her partner for the weekend. They set up a command room in the lounge using every device available. About 10 channels all on separate ISPs to the Glastonbury web site. One moved quite fast but slowed and didn't quite make it. They were also working with others in a group. But no luck this time round.

I'm not superstitious, and I like to start the new year fresh, without the hang over and reminder of the Christmas period finished. I personally find deocrations after Christmas a little depressing.
