Anyone from the UK?

Morning all. I haven't been on lit for a couple of years now, having been a regular previoulsy. Got drawn back in, and so lovely to see many familiar faces. I hope everyone is having a thoroughly splendid morning so far, and had a great weekend.

Morning all, did you miss me?

I had Xmas visit from Daughter #2 and her partner for the weekend. They set up a command room in the lounge using every device available. About 10 channels all on separate ISPs to the Glastonbury web site. One moved quite fast but slowed and didn't quite make it. They were also working with others in a group. But no luck this time round.

too early for the tree, but a little Christmas music is fine I'd say.

Love Actually is set 5 weeks before Christmas.....and thats christmassy!
Thank you, and you're correct re a tad early.
I'll stop writing Valentines cards now.

you can write them.....but just hold of sending....then you're all ready to go come Feb...

With Christmas, as with all, everyone has an opinion...because everyone does Christmas their own way. You do you.

I take my decorations down on new years eve, and some struggle with that....so....go crazy.

Isn't it unlucky to take them down on New Years Eve?..and I guess you mean Christmas decorations.

I'm not superstitious, and I like to start the new year fresh, without the hang over and reminder of the Christmas period finished. I personally find deocrations after Christmas a little depressing.

I see your point, don't get me wrong but a sip of eggnog in January would still feel Christmassy
