A nice 4 1/2 hours drive up to the in-laws. But a very nice apple crumble for dessert

Hello! Its been hectic. My OH had a scheduled operation and came home from hospital today. He looks great and the relief I feel is huge.
My plonker boss took 3 days off and I only found out by accident. We are so short staffed and I did not have time to scratch.
How are things up north??

Rained last night up here, much cooler. But my son is happy because he's got a football match and didn't want to be playing on a bone dry pitch apparently.

I guess it would!
He used to be a defender, played in the age group above his actual age for a season, then switched to striker in his correct age group. Currently top scorer in the team. He's pretty good. Helps that at 13 he's 5'9" with size 11 feet !
