Anyone from the UK?

Is so nice not to have a sweaty ball sack.

Why can't it be hot on weekends and cool midweek?

Gotta say I'm disappointed...

UK thread was made of sterner stuff last time I was here 🙄

No one is even being asked their Hogwart's house anymore...
I went off Harry big time when he forced me to pay for 2 theme parks just so I could take the train between them! I'd have taken a return if offered...

JK Rowling isn't shy about her thoughts on trans people
No, but it's also an area where if you express any kind of opinion the other side of the argument tries to destroy you.

There is no middle ground or compromise allowed by either side.

But I assume that you'll also be boycotting a shit of a lot of other entertainment based on the actions or opinions of people involved in them

Not entirely sure how you compromise on the issue of whether a group of people should be entitled to live or have the same rights I enjoy.

Where is the middle ground on human rights?

Who I do or don't boycott is irrelevant. I'm not looking to undertake purity tests, just point out that JKR has, for whatever reason, over the last few years, turned into a very nasty human being.

I'm not getting into the rights and wrongs of the trans rights arguments with someone whose opening gambit is that it's and easy (ironically binary) decision.

It's a complex discussion, and if it wasn't it wouldn't cause so much bother for those who are trying to legislate for it.
