Having just completed my 6 monthly review of:

“where the fuck does our money go each month?”

I put out a question to everyone. What’s your biggest monthly expense that’s not the ‘norm’ (ie, food, housing, transport) .

I’m talking, the thing you look at and go ‘do I really spend that much on …..?’

Thats hard. Energy and council tax are horribly expensive. Eating out I suppose so cut down on that. Plus kid stuff as one at uni.

There's 'norm' food and then there is 'food' such as takeaways and eating out in the 'did we really' box.

Biggest non-living expense is probably the numerous streaming services we're signed up to. Seems you can't live without them nowadays.
