Hilarious quiz.

You scored 4 out of a possible 10. Hellish. One can only assume that Satan is playing tricks with your memory. Either that or you simply haven't been watching enough Biblical blockbusters.

Can't wait to see "Life of Brian" on the big screen again.

All Things Dull and Ugly

All things dull and ugly,
All creatures short and squat,
All things rude and nasty,
The Lord God made the lot.

Each little snake that poisons,
Each little wasp that stings,
He made their brutish venom.
He made their horrid wings.

All things sick and cancerous,
All evil great and small,
All things foul and dangerous,
The Lord God made them all.

Each nasty little hornet,
Each beastly little squid--
Who made the spikey urchin?
Who made the sharks? He did!

All things scabbed and ulcerous,
All pox both great and small,
Putrid, foul and gangrenous,
The Lord God made them all.

Amen..

Oh, if only the writers had thought of 'I Know What You Did Last Supper'. :D

You scored 8 out of a possible 10
In limbo. Clearly you are torn in both directions and a battle is waging for your soul. You possess feet of clay, but at least your head is pointing to the heavens.

Wow. I missed the first two and got the last eight.

Ah, Troy McClure. Godspeed, Phil...

I wonder if this is the first of many...

HOUSTON (Reuters) - A repentant Texas man went to police after seeing Mel Gibson's controversial film "The Passion of Christ" and confessed to murdering a 19-year-old woman who was pregnant with his child, authorities said on Thursday.

Police had thought Ashley Nicole Wilson, who died on Jan. 18, had hanged herself, but Dan Leach, 21, went to them on March 9 to admit that he had killed her, said Fort Bend County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Jeannie Gage.

Leach wanted to seek redemption after talking to a friend and seeing the movie about the last hours of Christ's life, she said.

Is there a kind of Lourdes phenomenon here. Next story:

"I took my grandmother, blind for 20 years, to 'the passion' and when Jesus died, she said, 'I'm washed in the blood, and I can see. So much beautiful blood!' And she's been fine ever since."

Bump.

Since the film just came out on video. Anyone seen it?

I saw it, and all the flesh torn up with those scourges with the nasty pieces of iron, nails, etc. at the end.

The idea of the healing and mystery of Christ's blood is dealt with very literally, as in having Mary mop up his blood in the courtyard
(with a cloth from the Roman aristocrat lady), and kiss his bloody toe, and get the blood on her mouth. There are a fair number of these invented scenes.

Some scenes *are* by the Book. And as implausible as in the Book. The idea that the Romans released one nasty criminal each year, for some unknown reason, has no known basis in fact.
BarAbbas (whose name means Son of the Father, oddly) is quite a slimy, deranged character, in the film. Which heightens the perfidious hostility of the mob.

Oh, and I do like that the devil is definitely a kind of 'bi' androgynous figure.... I've always suspected those not clearly man or woman!
