Huh? So you're ashamed by me saying the word weird? That tells me a lot.
Ashamed? No. Irritated by disingenuous commentary? Yes.

I'm just curious why people are discussing/debating politics (and now kink shaming) in Story Ideas. It has been established that Laurel will not allow "real" political people in stories here, so there's nothing more to talk about in yr his thread. Similar to Fetish & Sexuality board, this one used to be a safe haven where trolling was not allowed. Can we just go back to no arguing, bullying, or kink shaming and go back to sharing ideas?

Remember that stupid thread by Hung Son years ago? Completely unrelated to Story Ideas, yet people (I was guilty, too, up to a point, but I stopped) kept adding and posting to it. Ugh.
That was the story idea. Why not just ignore this thread? You know what it's about.
but many people shat upon him and his idea and then began trolling.scarlight said:Maybe stories of AOC and other sexy political figures (Example: Kaleigh McEnany) beings sluts or getting fucked rough.
Hmmm...
The story idea was but many people shat upon him and his idea and then began trolling.

Are you just bored and trying to stir stuff up? Would you admit it if you were?
All we did was prove that keeping politics and politicians out of stories and story discussion is A Good Idea.
Not trying to do anything. Just expressing my opinions on things like everyone else.
What's your problem?
I actually think this thread did a pretty good job not going overboard on the politics. I've seen threads go completely sideways on politics and this one didn't do that.
And I totally disagree about keeping politicians out of stories. I think satire is a hugely important right and that we should be free to make fun of, ridicule, and make up stories about powerful political figures so long as what we do isn't libelous (meaning, it tends to injure reputation, is false, but is conveyed in a way that people are likely to believe it).
You are free to right stories about celebrities at Literotica to your heart's content so long as the stories do not involve nonconsent.
I think it's quite a reach to label the story idea, "stories of AOC and other sexy political figures (Example: Kaleigh McEnany) beings sluts or getting fucked rough," satire. There was no indication that it was intended as political commentary, humorous criticism, or humor of any description. This isn't just a matter of semantics. Calling it satire cloaks it in political speech.
If you want to defend it, I think the fair way to defend it is for what it is instead of trying to tie it to a broader, more easily defended principle and hoping for the slippery slope to pull everything down together. If you do want to try to do that, I think the fairer way would be to lay out the progression of the argument that way instead of trying to portray stories of real people being sluts or getting fucked rough as satire.
And again, this is not about somebody's right to free speech. It's about whether it is appropriate to post or host that particular content here.
For me it's a politician I don't like but a fictional one. I want to make my story sake and serious. and I love ones with incestuous villain protagonistsI sort of get the "politician erotica" thing, but only sort of, and it doesn't interest me personally.
But to those who ARE interested in this, I have a question: what turns you on more, a story about a politician you DON'T like, or about one you do? Is your attitude about this genre one of romance and attraction toward politicians you like or agree with, or a desire to see those you don't like or agree with humiliated or degraded?
Fifth cousin once removed. I don't know of anywhere in the world where that would be considered incest.Elanor Roosevelt
She was rumored to be bisexual, and was Franklin's cousin, so that's three to six kinks right there. (lesbian, loving wives, incest & taboo, fetish (power). Maybe add in group sex, gay male and another fetish. (With an Edward Meechum-like character [from 'House of Cards'] who gets involved because of the wheelchair.)
Literotica, relative = incest.Fifth cousin once removed. I don't know of anywhere in the world where that would be considered incest.
True...So, why can't we drink (ourselves blind) on election day?
"Wait," Ali said. "Wait. Why is she the only one in character?"
"I'm not the one who's had a complete personality transplant," Elle muttered.
Raquel laughed. "She's not the only one," she said. "I brought some old friends."
[T. Rex roars]
"Oh, great," Ali said. "They didn't even make sense in the film."
I don't even know if anybody has ever grown a pair and tried to push a non-con story about a celeb here. In theory Laurel has said no to that idea. I have found in my nearly two decades on this site that some of the rules can be bent, others broken. It really has a lot to do with your over all skill as an author. And how many people you manage to piss off in a very short period of time.
You won't know until you try, though now that they have so many categories I do wish they would split celebrities from wholly fictional characters. Like Batman fake, Christian Bale not so much which means the rules should be a little different there.
