Applying and removing make-up

Well, there's always Makeup Remover for removing it. :D Look in the cosmetics and/or face care section, and you'll find remover. Cold Cream is a really cheap (there should be a store brand), readily available remover that can be used for other things and probably won't arouse much suspicion from the clerk.

Cetaphil cleanser and witch hazel astringent seems to do a good job for me, but it's not great for long-wearing mascara, eyeliner, etc. (don't use the witchazel on your eyes at all, since it's alcohol based). I use Clinique or Revlon ColorStay remover for mascara when necessary. Plus, Cetaphil's just great for skin in general and another product that wouldn't be too weird for a man to buy.

As for application tips, what are you looking to improve with? There are a ton of tips online with pictures and videos to demonstrate the techniques. Google 'makeup application tips' or similar, and you'll see!

I don't wear much makeup so I'm not much help. However, a friend of mine (from high school) has always had *the* most beautiful skin I've ever seen, she used Noxzema in high school and college. I'm pretty sure she still does because her skin glows.

I use soap and water, just started using Dove for the moisture but as I said I don't wear much make up at all.

Cold cream? Like Ponds Cold cream?

Yeppers. My mom used it when I was little. I've heard men report it's a good lube for masturbation, too. Bonus, eh? ;)

On the Noxema, don't use it for eye makeup - it will burn due to the menthol (or whatever additive gives it that cool, refreshing tingle).

Regular hair conditioner works wonders as well. Put a little on a cotton swab or q-tip (for eyeliner - but don't get it in your eye, lol) and just start rubbing. It works, I promise. :)

If you experiment a lot it takes a toll to an extend to your skin. Make sure you use creams in between. Nowadays there is so much skincare for men that it should not be a problem to find something that will keep your (facial)skin healthy... if you are shy about buying women-stuff.

Besides.... the male skin is often different in structure and balance than women's skin, so maybe you should stick to the male versions of at least the daycare skinproducts, designed for your type of skin. If you want advice from the store you can always say you use make up on stage.

Having said that... who will suspect you are not buying things for your girlfriend or wife, eh? ;)

I used to use baby shampoo and a cotton ball to remove my eye makeup. :)

I often use

baby wipes. They work well all over the face, though I reccomend a good brand; the cheap ones can tend to dry out your face after a while. :catroar:
