There's nobody on my ignore list. Just about every regular (not exactly something you hear often around here. lol) member contributes something to the board at one point or another. Some people just have more of a tendency to be a jackass then others.

It took me months to come to the conclusion that putting these two people on ignore was much like cleaning up dog poop not very nice but necessary.

I don't use ignore though there are some whose posts i never read, mostly because we have few areas of interest-overlap (as opposed to outright hostility). My ignore, as rambling man and willywanker have explained, is my finger.

I'd be really curious to know if, however, i'm on someone's ignore list. If i was, i'd like to find out in what manner i'd so offended them and fix it (if possible).

2 questions

1.) Why is there a yellow circle with an "X" on it next to the title in the main list (the screen previous to this one)?

Do y'all have it rigged so that no one can ignore you? Or would you care if someone does who is a complete pain in the ass? (Would you override it if someone did to tell them to behave him/herself?)

You should be able to ignore me, as far as I know. Unless the BB software doesn't let you ignore the admins for some wacky reason. If people wanna put me on ignore, they can go right ahead. I've been ignored long before the 'ignore' function...lol... When people are being asses by violating rules (which, thankfully, doesn't happen often), I generally fire a warning PM or email across their bow anyhow, so the message gets there even if they can't read my post. That's an interesting scenario, though. Hope it never happens. *crosses fingers*

Expain please--how does it create more stupidity?
I have KD1 and his alter ego blocked so that I don't have to listen to their bullshit. This way I am not tempted to respond. This way I son't fill up the board with more encouragement to them.

I just couldn't resist before--I think of it as the same thing as removing all the beer from the house of a raging alcoholic who is trying to quit--remove the temptation!
