Yes, I'm still alive and in the Valley. And yes, my computer is dead. I'm traveling right now, so had the opportunity to drop by and check things out. How's everyone been doing? Lots of new faces around here.

Well, just got done carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds. Yum.

Nothing new or exciting. Kids are a sleep so I figured I'd surf around a bit an entertain myself.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

evening all.

just a quick hello and gentle nod to those of us in the wild west.

and may i say...

woohoo, Red Sox!!! :nana:

Hi Sunbunny:

I was once a phone man in Lake Havasu City back in the 70's. I actually grew up south of there outside of Parker.

Hope you had a good weekend,

Bill

Hey Sunbunny:

Yeah, I've seen some changes.......that's for sure.

Before McCulloch started Lake Havasu City, the only thing that was there was a Coast Guard marina called "Site 6". It was at the tip of what they now call "The Island". Originally it was at the tip of a Penninsula......when they dug the canal, they created an island. At the time, the only real way to get there (Site 6) was by boat........However, there was a bad dirt road from Parker that a jeep or horse could travel. BTW, there was big horn sheep in the mountains between Parker and Site 6. The locals laughed at McCulloch when he announded that he was going to make a city there..............now look! <smile>

I hope you're having a good day,

Bill

DracnKitten

How was the Halloween Party?

My wife and I used to go the Halloween Parties at Club Chameleon (swingers club in PHX) when it was still open.

Those were outrageous.

Was always wanting to host one.

:)

It was a lot of fun! Sunday is always open Mic night at Aunt Chilada's and this was the busiest I've seen it in my few weeks wroking there. I hear it was the busiest in months. I'll look at putting a couple of the pictures of me up, though I didnt' really get any good ones.

I'll be in costume again wednessday when I work, but it won't be the same one. I'm wearing it to chool too, should be fun as lng as the crenoline underskirt doesn't itch.

The absolutely nastiest camping trip we ever had with the boat was the three days we spent out here when we were kids.. and yet years later we all live here.. lol.

And how about this weather! I've been having a few nice Pete's Wicked Wanderlust Cream Ales and hanging outside all day. Getting the toy hauler ready for an upcoming trip.
