we got all the way up to an almost balmy high 40's today.. I miss my desert!

It finally got above freezing here after about 5 days. I really miss my desert too! My weekend is going pretty well, actually have a day off tomorrow so I'll make the most of it doing some chores & shopping. Woohoo! Well, I'll get to have some Daddy fun time with my little one too.

We come here to stay warm! She is a blowing about where you can stand against the wind (well, maybe not that bad, but it sure is cold - We may get a little rain.

We were up in the Slot Canyons east of Parker yesterday. It was sunny and no wind. What a beautiful place. Pack a lunch and take plenty of water.

We had our Thursday afternoon jam session in the clubhouse. Wow - we had some great musicians there. One new guy and his wife, he played the saxophone and they both sang. It was a toe tappin' day for sure. One fella plays the bathtub, a woman on the spoons, guitars played by both men and women, an accordion played by a woman, violins (fiddles), Banjoes and all acoustical too. Almost everyone sings. We have these every Wednesday night at 6:30 and every Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm.

So just let it get cold and blow all she wants too. We also have a wood burning stove for warmth.

Well Bunny we finally got some warmer weather and it came just in time for the, Colorado River Blue Grass Festival in Blythe this week-end.

We attended the festival today and it was everything it has been for the last 26 years. Wow are these people good and talented.

In March they will be up-river in your home town.
