Well the weather here has finally taken a turn for the better.. Been sunny and almost warm the last couple of days. Of course as they say in texas, if you don't like the weather just wait a couple of hours, it will change..

Well Bunny it took a long time to find the photos of my racing days but here is one for you at Manzy. It was somewhere around the late 1950's to the early 1960's that we raced there. I built the engines. Ben Sanders owned the car and of course Jim Wood drove it.

We would race Tucson Friday Night and Manzanita Saturday night. We were always back to work Monday morning in San Diego. Those were really fun days.

I hope your nephew is having as much fun as we did.

Thank you for sharing! He is having a blast driving the car. Not sure if he misses wrenching on it and the fights with his Dad over differences in set up though.. lol. Dad does all the wrenching on both cars these days. Nephew flies in for the races.

We won the Trophy, Heat and Main along with setting fast time.

Now We have two beautiful Trophy Girls Bunny and Dee standing on the nerfing irons waving those Checkered Flags as we circle the half mile track.
