Which part of the north valley?

If you have easy access to the 101 just hop on it (you'll actually be heading south) until you reach HWY 60, get off going east for a few miles and Alma School is just a few exits from that exchange.

If your in the north east valley take the B-line hwy down, until you reach hwy 60 and go west a few exits to Alma School.

Gee- we're fairly close to each other.

It's really easy- You can do this two ways.

Take 101 loop east all the way throught the scottsdale area, down through the tempe/mesa area and get off at the hwy 60, go east a few exits and your at Alma School area.

or (I find this quicker):

Take I-17 south, hit the I-10 exchange going east, go through downtown area; take the 202 loop east and then get off at the 101 loop then get off east at hwy 60, fo a few exits and your at Alma School area.

It's simple really - just sound complicated :D

Sounds good to me!

Hey DW :D

If we are going to meet in the general Fiesta Mall area (yeah, neah?!? Any other suggstions people?):

From Show Low there are two ways you can get down here.

You can take Hwy 60 down through the salt river canyon and go through Globe heading west to Phx. From Globe it's about 1.5 hours to Apache Junction (about 90 miles). Hwy 60 becomes the Superstition Freeway in Apache Junction. From the Apache Junction you just stay on the freeway until Alma School Road - about 30-45 minutes or so.

If you go through Globe, please, please, I beg you, stop at La Casita East Mexican resturant and get me a bean burro and chicken toastada - boy I miss the old home town food. Of course if I remember correctly you have a La Casita or a Chalo's there in Show Low too, so you can just bring me something from there ;)

Or

You can go east to Payson (I believe its AZ Hwy 260 - but don't quote me on that) then take AZ Hwy 87 down to Phx. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly where/how 87 hooks up with Hwy 60 I think it may be by surface streets once you reach town. There may be a hook up on Loop 202 by now also. I'll have to investigate it a little more.

Time wise for you I have now idea which route would be quicker.

Anyone else need directions?

Any other suggestions for the meet?

Anyone? Anyone?

How about meeting in the Arrowhead Town Center mall area? Lots of brand new Resturants! And some lively bars also.

Any place is good for me!;)

Fiesta is at Alma School Road and HWY 60 (aka: Superstition Freeway) in Mesa. It's close to the east 101/202 loops and I-10/17 exchange isn't very far either. From over here in Glendale it takes me about an hour to get to that area during moderate traffic.

It only take about 30 minutes max in light to moderate traffic to get from downtown Glendale to Fiesta mall....

Take Glendale to 16th street, then south to 202, then take Alma School south to Mall. During evening rush hour it took me 45 minutes on Friday.

But Maybe Ariaonz Mills Mall would be better... not hard to find, right off the freeway, and closer to the phoenix area.

Saturday late afternoon/early evening would probably be good, unless we wanted to make it Saturday night.

Majic.

Arizona Mills area is fine with me - don't know what resturants are around there but nothing should be hard to fine in that area. It would also be an easy place for anyone in the Tucson/Yuma areas to find and centrally located for the rest of us. Good idea AZ Majic!:D

Poor DW - you're going to have the hardest time and longest commute to get here - sure hope you can make it:)

Ready and I are close enough we can car pool :D

A Saterday afternoon/early evening is still great for me.

Vincent F- we are trying to plan a get together. If we go with AZ Mills area it will be just down the road from you.

Now the question is what day. How is Sat Nov 1st for everyone? After the best holiday (Halloween) but before the big rush of the Thanksgiving/Christmas season.

I think we all need to let others members in AZ that we talk too but who don't always look at the boards know about this, also. Once we settle on a date and place I'll pm and post to several people that I know of.
