Driving rules continued

The construction barrels -- they don't really have any place to store them so they just move them around from place to place every night.


Is it true the the word YIELD that you see at the entrance to onramp signs can be translated to "speed up and scare the shit out of everybody that's coming your way?"

How is it possible that we hear about so many roll over accidents in Phoenix? All the roads are so straight. Do people just get bored and decide to try out the old barrel roll?


Driving in Phoenix is so easy that it must have been designed for idiots; so that's who came!

My all time scariest Phoenix driving moment was when I was transitioning from the southbound 51 to the westbound 10. Two trucks, driving side by side, decided they wanted to be in the same lane next to me. Of course, they crashed into each other. The one immediately to my left jackknifed and dumped its cargo -- which was a house! So there I was driving right next to a spark dragging house as it rolled down the highway next to me. I accelerated away from it just before it flipped over and splintered into a billion pieces all over the highway.

LOL, you never know where that hand has been... lol...

Car running, but stalls out at stops or if sitting and I let off gas. Idle is fine, just something in engine.. going to do a tune up, and clean carb... hope that helps..

Got part.. that is what is letting car start and run.. but it keep stalling out and it isnt running just right... either tune up or carb needs cleaning... am waiting on some cash now... and today engine light came on for a bit.. oil and water ok, so something else is going on... hey the car was free.. so I gotta do what I can.

Not totally true, there are a few in Tucson, and someone up north that would probably come out of the woodwork again.... but we will see..

We only decided on the April/May time, as we didnt want to push, and didnt want people to get the idea that this was going to be some type of scam..

BUT, if people wanted to get together before that.. we could always plan something..

I am in East Mesa, but we chose Alcatraz as it was easy to get to, and seemed to be somewhat central.

Any ideas would be fine, and we can all decide as a group. I am sure that if we got enuf peeps together we could do it more often..


so speak up, if peeps dont want to wait.. why not do it again..
