At sea.

Theorin banked right and just by pure luck, Cervante's ship swung right a second later. "All mercenaries up on deck now!" he shouted. A minute later 50 fully armored mercenaries ran out on deck. "Time to earn your keep" he shouted. What irony that he and his enemy had uttered the same words. All of the mercenaries grabbed their bows or crossbows and got on the side facing Cervante's ship. They let loose witha hail of arrows. "Remember, boys, if we are the ones to bring in the male werebeast's hide, we get paid 10 million each!" he roared, bringing up cheers from his fellows. They set about their task with a fervor unlike any other except one instilled by great fortunes. Their arrows thudded into the ship and ripped through her sails.

OOC: Oops, sorry. Just thought someone said that there was a crew on your ship.

ooc: Morgoth, Again with the Powergaming..*chuckles* It isnt Ten Million each..It's one million TOTAL on CERVANTES Head...I set that because it was reasonable..*chuckles* And 50 mercinarys?? Thats a bit much...and HOW big is this ship again? And WHO is firing the arrows?? Sorry, I just find this a tad unfair on Ravenloft's side....I think that ye forces should be toned down...I only got my Two chars to fight him! Thats it!! *LOL* I am gonna respond in a second..

OOC: My merc's are gonna die. or at least most of them. theyare firing the arrows. Big ship. That's right. Ten milliona piece. Of course, in the end, there aren't going to be m,any of them left and the guy who hired Kain knew that. But like I said, since Kain is a little short on the brains, he never thought of that possibility.

ooc: Ye are right they're gonna die...if C Doesnt Kill em, AMARANT WILL! He hates people who think they know what they're doing...
ic: *he blinks and grumbles* Great, Cannons..*He knows they're getting closer* Alright!! Rita! Lets Kick this Pig!! *She stands on the back of the ship, a Wood Staff in her hand with a glowing orb at the end, she closes her eyes and focuses her mind, suddenly his ship begins to go faster, Cervantes hanging Off the front of the ship in waiting, the claws out and a grin on his face* The Captains Comin to get Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Ginyu Force style pose while hanging*

Cervantes:

looking through one of the port holes that was not blocked by a cannon Cervantes saw that they were pulling to the side, coming into a decent firing arc. He then lit all five cannon's quickly, they launched their contents within the minute it took to light them all. Three slammed into the assaulting ship, and two sailed over it harmlessly, splashing into the water with an audible sound. The three that struck though... Thats what made Cervantes smile. One struck at the very base of the ships sails, splintering the wood and sending the entire front sail structure to falling, like so much lumber. It landed on one of the bow-men, ending his days. One cannon ball bowled through three of the men. leaving little of their bodies intact. The final one struck a mere three feet above water level, gouging a hole in the ships side. The ship started to take on water. Cervantes imediatly set about making the other sides cannons ready to fire.

Joach just realized he was on the wrong boat. He wasn't going to do it this way, attacking a ship of only five people with fifty mercenaries. He might be after this for the money, but he had his honor as well.
Joach looked up, Garret stood at the bow of the ship.
"We need to go on the other one," he said, "I thought this guy was something that he wasn't."
Joach nodded, "The ship's far off, but I think I have enough power to get us there."
A transformation spell, one that would take two people from one ship to the other. He closed his eyes tightly, the air around them clinging with static. Garret watched a circle enclose them.
"Don't worry Theorin, we'll be back." They disappeared.
The ship's were pretty much the same, only this one was smaller, much smaller.
A small crew too, Joach could only see two.
"Hello, we are from the other ship. Don't be alarmed, we simply wanted to apologize for the captain's overarrogance. He's like that sometimes."
Joach wnet down on one knee, breathing heavily. The spell had obviously taken a lot out of him. He wondered if they were twenty more feet away, if they would be swimming towards the ship.
"I would like to explain this some more," Garret said, stepping in, "But we have company."
The other ship was firing.

Ooc: Hey, sorry Morgoth, but for a while I think it would be best if I hung out with Roland's guys. You seem to have everything under control.

Oh no. Something was wrong. Cervie didn't think speak to him unless something was really wrong. The ship wasn't that big, he could simply have shouted at him, although there were a lot of big words in there, like "bank". He hated hard words, but when the captain thought spoke to him, he never forgot it for a while.
He eased the ship to the right, and watched as everyone ran around. It was very pleasing, everyone else ran around for a while, and he simply stood up there steering. He had always wanted it to be this way, him the captain, being in charge.
"Hail the sails, raise the mast, and don't forget to brush your teeth. What do you think I'm running here, a ship? I want this ship ship shaped, like a ship, and none of your funny wunny business. They don't call me captain Rockingham for nothing."
Of course not, they called him that because it was his name. After all, he was the captain for a little while.
He took the captain's telescope and looked out at the other ship.
An arrow went from one to the other. Oh, that was interesting. Why didn't he get any arrows, that was just like those meanies, he didn't even get a...
Oh, here is one. It's coming right for.
Oh no.
Rocky fell into the water. The arrow stuck into his shoulder. Searing pain sweltered through his shoulder. It hurt, it hurt so much, more than that time he was tied upside down and made into a pinata. All be it, it was for Cervie's birthday, but still it hurt quite a lot.
This however, was much much worse. He didn't have time to think about it though. The rope was only fifty feet long.
He had fallen off of the ship quite a few times, and after that one time when Cervie never came back for him until the next day, he decided to put a rope that extended fifty feet behind the ship. He thought it was the most smartest thing he had ever done in the history of time. Although he never really could explain how pulleys worked. Maybe pulleys were the most advanced, but his was by far the most ingenious.
He grabbed it, and pulled himself up. The thought of banking the ship far to the left as soon as the cannon's went off blazed in his head as a red hot pain grabbed his chest. He defied both of these, however, and climbed up to the ship again.
An arrow stook out of his shoulder. The fact that he was actually seeing it hurt more than the pain itself. He fell back against the side of the ship. Why did they have to hurt him, what did he ever do to them. A few tears strayed from his eyes, making their natural way down his cheek. He was only following orders, he didn't know any better.
Ask anyone, he didn't know any better. He was just a simple cabin boy, he couldn't even spell his own name....
R-O-K-Y-N-A-N
Rockingham, see, it wasn't even close. He actualy didn't know, maybe he did get it right. Yet, if time were to spill it's truth, he would find out soon enough it was wrong.
"MEANY!!!" He shouted, crying softly. It hurt so much.
He didn't dare pull it out though. If he pulled it out, he know it would hurt more. He needed a doctor, or a butcher, or something. Someone who knew about shoulders and arrows.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cannons!
Oh no, he got up, the arrow forgotten. He went up to the upper deck, and grabbed the wheel. The pain in his shoulder roared with pain, and he had to use his right hand to steer the wheel. It was a long and hurtful process. A small poodle of blood was forming by the wheel. It couldn't be helped though, maybe it was a good thing. He was beginning to get a little chubby around the midwaist, he was losing weight.
He never wanted this much pain to be involved in it though.
"MEANY MEANY MEANY!!!" he shouted to whoever did this. They were mean, extrememly mean. People who you didn't want to travel around with. Some bad guy, who only hurt people because they felt like hurting them.
He didn't like being hurt anymore.
He feel back against the ship's side again. He couldn't move much after this. The pain was becoming unbearable. He suddenly couldn't breathe. There was something wrong. Falling slowly to the side, his cheek brushing up against the floorboards he laid still.
The pain didn't feel as bad when he was still. It was throbbing throughout his body know. Was it poison? Oh no, not poison. People who got poisoned arrows slept forever and didn't wake up.
His father went to sleep, and he tried to wake him up, tried and tried, but it never happened. He even slapped him, but nothing. Sometimes, people just went to sleep and didn't wake up.
He didn't want to go to sleep forever, he had too many things to do. Oh no, not poison. This couldn't be, it just couldn't be.

Rose

Rose jerked away from Ren at Cervantes and Vixen's entrance. As she fumbled for something to say, she was almost grateful for the sudden banging demands for aid. She ran pas Vixen and out the door...Into the middle of madness...

Locating Cervantes she moved quickly to his side to see what she was to do....

Ren

Right before I was about to cum, Cervantes and Vixen had to move into the room. Rose pulled herself off of me right after coming back to her senses. The thief ran out of the room quickly to leave me at the point of almost reaching my climax. Talk about leaving a guy hanging.

Moving myself up into a sitting position, I suddenly remember that I wasn't alone right now. Jerking my hands down to try to cover my erection, my eyes look up at Vixen looking back at me while I try to play this off. "So... uh... some weather we're having lately huh?" I tell her as I try to find some cover. Where the hell where my pants? This was just not my day...

*Lita smiled at Joach but only slightly, she began in a smooth, loving voice* Well now...We'll see what we can do...*she manages a Smile* Amarant Will Take care of THAT Bounty...1 Million Gold...*whistles* With that we'll have enough to retire from The Bounty Hunter business..*she grins at Joach* Hmmmmm....Alright You can stay....Just dont get in Amarants way with Cervantes....He's Got alot of pride running on this...*They were nearing the ship, trying to get within Jumping distance, she kept pushing it further with her mind and managing to talk to Joach* And One More thing..*she passes him a long, glowing green dagger* If someone gives you Scruff, Give em a slice from this, The sleeping Draught on this will knock out an elephant for days...*she chuckles and goes back to work, Amarant waiting patiently at the far end of the ship, for the moment they were close enough he'd leap on...*

Cervantes:

The magical connection with Rocky was still strong from his telepathy spell, so when Rocky had been struck, Cervantes knew what had happened. As Rose stood beside him, missing the lower half of her clothing, Cervantes smiled at her briefly, then spoke. "Watch as I load these cannons, after this volly it will be your job to reload and fire them as I will need to be above deck. Do you understand?" He paused for her answer then went quickly to work on loading them and lighting the fuzzes. He was losing the magical connection to Rocky. That was bad, very bad, his spells lasted far longer than this... He patted Rose on the shoulder and stared her in the eyes for a moment to reasure her, then he rushed up on deck. Rocky was laying on his side, a pool of blood forming from the arrow wound. He was breathing shallowly. Cervantes rushed over to him and dropped to his knees. He took the boys head in his hands and forced him to focus. "Rocky! Focus! Set up!" Cervantes commanded as he pushed the boy to a setting position. "I don't lose crew members." He growled to justify his actions. The second volly of cannon fire launched, all but one of the five shots missed the Invincible. A large hole was gouged into the main deck. Looking up to see the volly sail on past the Invincible, mostly a waste of cannon balls, Cervantes curced. He looked back down at Rocky. There was no time to tend his wounds propperly at the moment. Cervantes's fingers pressed against Rocky's neck and suddenly the pain in his shoulder was gone. In fact Rocky couldn't even feel his shoulder anymore. Cervantes then pushed the arrow through the last inch it had to go to break through the other side of Rocky's shoulder, and took out a knife. It glowed faintly of enchantment as He sawwed through the wood of the arrow head end of the bolt. Snapping it off, cervantes tossed it to the side and then yanked the rest of the arrow out through its entry wound. If he hadn't made Rocky's shoulder go numb the boy would have been howling in pain! Quickly pulling his shirt off, Cervantes wrapped it up under Rocky's armpit and tied a knot into it to cover the wound. Then he stood and ran to the ships wheel. He roughly forced to ship to the other side, in the hopes that Rose had done as she was told and readied another volly. He took one last look up at his cabin and scowled. Ren would be missing a few meals it would seem... He thought to himself.

Kain saw the huge hole in the side of the ship and fanatically ordered the mercenaries to jump overboard. They complied. Unluckily for Kain, the water was freezing. 8 of them survived. Then Kain grabbed a concealed amulet around his neck and a bubble lifted the rest of the air and dispensed the water. Then it catapaulted Kain into the bubble. "Okay, boys. Remember that they are the bastards who destroyed ole' Bessie and killed 42 of our friends. Are we going to let them live with that??" he bellowed and the bubble began to race forward much faster than either ship. Inside, the 9 people pulled out their fearsome array of weapons and began to run their hands over the deathly blades.

OOC: The amulet is from the master. He thought that the ship might be destroyed and therefore gave them this very manuevarable and very fast bubble. It's only use is to get them to Cervante's ship. And it's fine with me, poohlive.

*At last They had caught up, Amarant, leaping from the Deck lands with a huge thud on the deck of Cervante's ship. his eyes obscured by his wild hair as the claws slowly unshelth and he stands, the blade Flicking out of his other knuckle* Heh heh heh heh...It's as good as Ours...*he looks around quickly, scowling at the bubble* Damn Idiots. *he Waits, leaning against the mast and his eyes ready, waiting for cervantes to come*

*she smiles at Joach and walks over to him* Now then...*A Slightly wicked grin on her face* While he's...taking care of things....Maybe we could Get to know one another better...What do you say?? *A purr in her voice is nearly irresistable*

The bubble set to a hover over the ship and popped sending the nine of them on to the deck. Kain growled slightly at Amarant, then stood in battle position.

Rocky got up slowly. He couldn't believe it, Cervie had actually done something nice for him. It didn't hurt at all. He felt great, better than he had this morning. Even his back seemed better. He was on top of the world. Oh no, he wasn't, only on top of a ship, but that was still pretty good considering.
Was Cervie his friend now? He had never really had a friend, only his toys, and Pat the rat. Cervie showed such kindness though, was he going to be his friend.
It was a hell of a day at sea.
Rocky got up, determined to help his new friend. Looking back, he could see the two ships closing in. Oh no, if they got on board, there was no telling what they would do. Probably hurt him for no reason, just like they did to his shoulder.
Why did they have to be so mean? Rockingham looked up, trying to find a way to make this thing go faster. All of the sails were up, and headlong into the wind. No, wait, they still had one to go.
He remembered, Cervie had built a back sail into this thing. It was used only for emergencies. He looked back, nodding his head. This looked like an emergency to him.
He moved to the side, raising the last sail. It would have to do, it was their only chance. Before it was half way up, it caught the wind. Yes, he raised it all the way up, perfect. The ship was making waves now, or was it riding waves.
Maybe it was on waves? He wasn't quite sure, he was never quite sure when it came to things like that.
HE had done it, they were past all of the danger, now all they had to do was...
He looked at the people on the ship. Oh now, he had screwed up again. what was he to do now? He couldn't fight is his life depended on it.
And by the way these mean people did things, he knew that his life did depend on it. They already had swords out. They looked like sharp swords too, the kinds that hurt even.
He looked over at Cervie, "I hope you've got something big up your sleeve."

"Oh, your the one who killed 42 of my mercenary's?" grinned Kain maliciously. "Ole' Executioner here is just waiting to meet you", he chuckled, patting the huge sword in his hand. He had a bone shield in the other hand.

Joach nearly blushed as he took a step backwords.
"Yeah," his voice squeaked. He breathed in deeply, trying to calm himself.
"Yes, we should get to know ourselves a little better. My name is Joach."
A funny silence followed, "Ummm, I suppose you already know that though. I do magick sometimes, well any time I suppose. I like to touch things."
Joach looked at the water, did he just say he liked to touch things? Oh man, he had never been this nervous in all his life.
"Well, I'm sure we've got a lot of things to do on this ship. You know, cleaning, cooking, and..."
He had been slowly taking steps back, but she had met him step for step. Now, he was back against a wall. He smiled brightly, looking at her.
"What about you? Tell me some interesting things in your life," he said, changing the subject.

Cervantes:

"It was you who condemned your men to death fool, the moment you attacked me without just cause..." Cervantes said as he unsheathed his dragon's head katana. "I'd advise you to leave me and mine alone... I am no one to be trifled with..." Cervantes said as he knifed the air with is sword. "Unless you wish the last nine of you to join your fellows in death?"

"Oh, I don't want you dead. But someone is paying us 10 million gold to bring you back. And you can bet your ass we will", said kain, the others agreeing with him. The sword glinted in the light, as if to say "give me blood".

Rocky looked at the big meanies with some dissatisfaction. They were alays being bullies, which he could understand because they had mothers who didn't love them, but this was just a total disregard to the rules of war.
"Hey hey hey hey hey," he jumped onto one of the ropes of the ship. His arm felt a slight twinge, but nothing more. He swung to the other side, jumping between the nine or so magical bubble men. They each looked at him with a face of pure ugly stubbled evil. He could feel the hairs on his back stand at end.
"I will not allow anyone to touch my toys," he said, picking up his doll. Mr. Mean was now in the hands of one of the men. He yanked it from his grasp. Giving him a childlike, "you know better" look. Prisoners of war did not include toys, at least not since he has been in combat. Although he hadn't read the updated version of the rules. As soon as he learned to read, he would have to follow that up.
The man pulled out his sword. This wasn't the way to play very fairly. His dolls were his property, and no one elses. They didn't even have a right to be on this boat, but it was Cervie's boat, not his. If Cervie wanted bloodthirsty guests trying to kill him, Rocky didn't mind at all, but he drew the line at toy stealing.
It was a federal offense in some countries. People cut off your hand for stealing. Rocky wasn't this mean, it was simply an honest mistake of mistooken identity that was mistaken. Dolls weren't prisoners of war.
The man tried to slice at him with his sword. He jumped back, falling into the small boat. What was that for? Look at how mean they were, no manners at all. Didn't their mothers teach these things? He jumped out of the boat, making sure his toys were safe, and walked up to the man. In one swift motion he grabbed the sword, and slapped his hand.
"There, and you will get it back when you learn how to use it properly."
He nodded, as if in emphasis. This was no game, it was war. Yet, sadly, even in war people needed to take timeouts. Most of these people needed that as well. They had to learn respect if they were to be on Cervie's and his ship. It was Cervie's ship, but he liked to think he owned a little bit of it, maybe the crow's nest or something.
The man took a dagger from his pocket, and walked over to him. Oh no, this wasn't good at all. He had seen that look before, maybe slapping the hand wasn't such a good thing after all. He did deserve it though, what self respecting pirate would take a person's toy. He tried to jump back into the boat, but he missed, landing hard on a planking. It soared into the air, hitting the ropes and pulley systems overheard.
Rocky looked at the man, his eyes in shock. He was going to kill him. The bad meany guy raised the sword high into the air. Oh no, not again.
Something snapped, no not in Rocky's mind. Something snapped in the ropes above. All of the sudden a huge pulley system, was hurled into the boat below. It was stopped, only by a rope. Stopped wasn't exactly the correct word though, it was more like flung. The rope made it descend to a very low arc.
It hit the man standing above Rocky, and sent him hurling into the ocean.
Rocky got up, he had done it. He had been in his first fight and won. The other meanies, his friends obviously, gathered around. All right, if they wanted a fight, he would give them one. He threw the sword in his hand at one of the meanies, who had no choice but to catch it. At the same he pushed him into the waters below. The others were already about to skewer him, but he had other plans. He jumped, grabbing onto the rope and pulley that had just took over the first man. He pushed off from the mison mast, and was flung into the thick of bad meanies. He kicked one respectfully into the ocean, while the others scampered on the ground.
"ROCKY STRIKES AGAIN!!!" He yelled, coming back around for another throw. This time he got two in the back, shoving them both overboard. This was the simplest thing he had ever done, simpler than the time he figured out what giving head meant. This time he knew it was the right thing to do too. He swung back, grabbing one of the guy's by his shirt. He waited until he was at some distance from the ship, so the poor guy couldn't get a sliver from jumping so close, and dropped him. He did this until only two men from the bubble were still onboard. One was on the upperdeck with Cervie, along with that other person from the other ship, and the other was standing right in the middle, holding onto the mison mast for dear life.
He jumped off of the pulley, giving the man a meanie look.
"You can either jump," he said, picking up a sword, "or I'll make you jump."
The man jumped. Rocky smiled brightly, he did it. He defeated an entire army, and all by himself too. No one helped him, no one except for his dolls, oh and Mr. Pulley. Mr. Pulley was always his friend, ready to help him out. He still didn't know how they worked, but since they were so resourceful they must have been magical. No wonder he won, magic had helped him. He didn't think he could stop an entire army all by himself, oh well, he had done the best he could.
Getting inside the small boat, he picked up his two dolls. They were safe too, he gave the girl a little kiss on the cheek. After all, the dashing hero had saved the damsel in distress, and he deserved a little reward himself.

OOC: No offense, Rockingham.

Kain stepped out behind Rocky and yanked him back by the hair. He punched him in the face and his knee slammed into his stomach sending Rocky to the planks. "You idiot, that is a werebeast", he pointed to Cervantes. "And you knocked off 8 of my friends into freezing water, probably killing them. Now, I didn't want to kill anyone when this first started, but now I am in a mood for blood", he bellowed. "You will not die, oh imbecile. Nor will the werebeast or this other mercenary. But I will have blood before the day is done", he shouted, his sword in a battle position. He backed up to the water, and as he predicted, his friends' frozen corpses floated around. He walked away from the edge, his eyes starting to fill with blood. This in turn would, send him into a bloodrage after a while.

Ren

OOC: Sorry for lack of posts. Been busy.

IC: Finaly(yeah it took me long enough huh? lol)pulling on the last of my clothes, I turn to Vixen with an innocent grin. "Bet this isn't something that happens everyday in your life huh?" I tell in a low tone while fixing the last of my clothes. There was no way that I'd run out there butt naked like Rose did(she never said she put her clothes back on now did she? ;)). After getting this done, I give her another weak grin while making my way outside. There was alot of work to be done, and I was already behind on doing my part. Cervantes would surely have words with me later on in the day. That is, if there is going to be a later.

Walking out onto the deck, the first thing I see is a rather large man facing Cervantes and a beaten Rocky. Looking at the large guy with much interest, it was very obvious this guy wasn't here to say a simple 'hello' to any of us. The man was armed, and obviously very dangerous to have taken down Rocky without Cervantes doing anything. Then again, it could have just been that Cervantes did not care about Rocky being attacked. Either way, this was not someone that I should take very likely.

Feeling a low growl escape my throat, I reach into my cloak to pull out one of my daggers. Moving with unhumanly fast precision, I'm quickly on Kains back with the dagger pressing against his throat. The steel dug into his skin, drawing a single drop of blood as I told him "I might not like Cervantes very much, but we 'werebeasts' do have to stick together. Especialy against scum like you that think they can take us down so easily."

There was some truth to my words. The main reason I had wanted to save Cervantes was because of his promise to train me. But, there WAS something else that was making me do this. I felt it the moment I realised Kain was a threat to the others on the ship. Holding my dagger close to his throat, I looked over to Cervantes for advice on what to do with him. If I could only make sure to keep the brute from attempting anything.

Vixen...

almost giggled as Ren pulled on his clothes and went out to help with the fighting. She was about to follow when she felt the most intense pain in her stomach. She cried out falling to her knees.

"What the hell?" She groaned clutching her stomach. She felt... fatter? She glanced down at her tummy in surprise. The pregnancy? This quickly? She shuddered. The sound of cannon fire caused her to look up sharply. She growled. Deep and low in her throat. The sound feral. Before she realised what was happening. She turned.

The need for blood strong. Desperate almost. She ran out onto the deck.. her nose twitching as she looked around desperately for something... anything to attack. The need to kill overwhelming her. She saw someone standing over Rocky. She snarled.
