According to the neurologist and the reading I've done since, it's genetic. Related to depression. Trigger is just life stress - when I reduce my life stress, I reduce the length of the migraines and increase the time between them.

Sadly with my job that's not always possible. So we work on a balancing act.

I understand about work stress... so what if.. You changed the way that you reacted to the so named "stress" could you work on dulling that.. Even make it non-stressful by the change of context. I.e. change the stress to another feeling such as excitement or challenge?

Just a thought, I know you are a wise man and this is just one girls opinion.
