Author name and profile name?

Does my name on this board has to be the same as my author name if I decide to post my stories here? Is there a way I could choose to use a different author name (the one I've always used) and have it linked to this user name?

The site does not provide an easy way to link an author name with a Forum handle although it's fairly easy to have both.

The Bio I put up for my author name gives a location of "In the back of Wierd Harold's Head" and the author's picture is a larger version of my avatar.

Some authors have more than on author's name in addition to their "Forum Handle" Many of them provide inks in their signature lines to each of their author's pages.

To choose a different name for posting stories, just log-out and register a new name to use for posting stories. In the personal web site field, you can put your "Poussin" profile and put a comment in the Bio that the new name and "Poussin" are th same person.

I use a different name to post fiction and this name to post "How To" essays. The fiction author-name refers back to this one, but I generally don't advertise the reverse link because I don't want people imposing a preconception on the stories based on my Forum posting -- it generally avoids one bombings, but it also avoids vote inflation and sycophantic fan mail.
