Well, you certainly weren't the only one left a little unsure over the details in there. I was more or less left grateful that I only needed to respond to the fact that Smellerbee was near a location with healers. heh
That sounds good to me. I didn't want conflicting groups making Azula's awakening too complicated, so having them meet up later rather then at the Palace may be better.
Either way, I'm only counting on a half dozen (if that) extras to accompany my guy for now, and most of those will probably be background dressing or used as bending fodder whenever needed. When they left the base, they weren't exactly planning on finding a reason for having to deal with a large number of Fire Nation guards; let alone a reformed Team Avatar.
But so long as this sounds good to Lily, then I'm fine with it and will wait on the right opening for introducing the faction.
Belatedly:
The idea with Kayna and Zhuang was that they'd sneak into the Palace and lay low. We were going to have them maybe steal some Fire Nation garb to blend in better. Eazy suggested this, also, makes me think it's not such a bad idea.
And then they bear witness to Azula's escape. Maybe they even help out, though I'm not sure she'll need the help, but the point is they see her apotheosis and they know at first sight in whom they have believed and continue their pilgrimage in order to stick with her like glue.
While they're following Azula, maybe they'd meet up with Eazy's new dark Firebender and his band of merry men, and they-all'll eventually add their biological and cultural distinctiveness to Azula's.
I dunno.
Probably barking up the wrong forest, I dunno.
But that's what the idea was.
(IC posts soon. Just need to get my shite together.
It's a lot of shite, apparently, and it's widely scattered.
Just need to get it together.)
